It is always best to do as those in (Acts 17:11).

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Hey what's going on here? "Come tonight and get some of God's presence."

Bentley style and Bentley theme...Bentley words! Is God opening "hubs" as Bob Jones has said or is somebody (or something) opening franchises?

"Revival Angel" - Austin, Texas

"Bring those who are even skeptical because God said last night that he was going to arrest those skeptical ones in His presence and deliver then from a spirit of religion in this revival."

As soon as they find "revival angels" and the "spirit of religion" in the Bible they can talk about the skeptical being delivered of it. Until then, it's just talk. If the Bible is not authoritative for you, what is? If the Bible is authoritative for you, please be aware that "religious spirits" or "spirit of religion" is not in the Bible.

video includes a painting of the "angel"

Tell us what you think of the painting.

Definitely not the descriptions of angels (messengers) in the Scriptures.
Where are the robes of white (righteousness)? Bird feathers and/or animal fur?

Attention given to angels? What happened to "If I be lifted up?"

If the elders are falling for this and/or experiencing this, woe to the flocks.

Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you realize this is the season of Shavuot (Pentecost)?
Tradition says it's the time of the giving of the Ten Commandments.
And it's the time the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples
as they attended the Feast at the columns of Solomon in the Temple.
It wasn't in the upper room, that's where the male disciples dwelt.
Their sleeping quarters. The 120 + were at the Temple Mount.

From Christ walked into my hotel room Day 57 part 3
So, am I the only "unspiritual" person here that recognizes an association between a spirit entering a room and a temperature drop which comes from a study of the paranormal, ghost-hunting and attempts to contact spirits of the dead---and then this Ryan Wyatt claims it happened as he "meditated"....

"Several years ago I was meditating on the restoration of all things. And Jesus Christ literally walked into my hotel room. Out of nowhere... the temperature in the room changed in a moment. And the Lord physically walked into the room and he was dripping with oil from head to toe."

"Physically walked in", huh? Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:26-27)

According to these Scriptures, no matter how many oil-dripping Jesuses they claim show up, "believe it not"!

Thanks! Yes, I know, our church has been "preparing" for it. The leadership staff have been fasting for 50 days and the congregation for a week at a time. It was really a wonderful, meaningful service for me!

End-Times Revival: Do you believe that there will be a massive end-times revival before the return of the Lord?

All that Yeshua tells us concerning the end-times is that “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). Knowing that the gospel will be preached to all the world does not necessarily equate to there being a massive end-times revival. All it means is that all will somehow hear the message of salvation. On the contrary to there being some kind of an end-times revival, one of the prerequisites that Paul says must happen before the return of the Messiah is that there will be a massive apostasy, or departure from the faith:

“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction” (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

It is likely that in the end-times, many people will truly come to faith in the Lord and/or get themselves right with Him. At the same time, this will also be coupled with a massive apostasy of many people away from the Lord.

Famous false prophet Pat Robertson and the rest at CBN are endorsing the Lakeland freak show.

I went to the "Contact" section and sent an email expressing my disappointment that CBN would endorse this demonic circus

Did you listen to the music.
It should have been done on a zitar.
Eastern music with eastern cult moves.

Is this what they are calling revival?

LOL.

I tried to e-mail CBN and I only got "you have offered invalid information."

maybe the word Lakeland blocked the e-mail.

if not given a setting for this dancing i don't see anything that screams demonic. it looks like lousy dancing and too much caffeine. given its setting, maybe it just an exercise in the flesh. do we NEED to label everything demonic?

we don't know based on this video. is it a misguided person that actually loves God, a non believer, a show off, an evil possessed person....how can we know?

That was one of the most ridiculous displays I've seen in a long time. What did that have to do with Jesus Christ? I agree with the comment: It looked like a rave. Just giving the crowds what they want.

I would hesitate to call this display demon possesion - however I certainly would not call this dancing edifying to the Body of Believers in Jesus or Christian - it seems more like Jungle Fever what with the drums in the background. Really, nothing going on in that dance glorifies or points the way to the Lord.

This outpouring really does seem to be a case of 'anything goes'. I would think that it would be especially degrading to those who were at one time involved in that type of worldly flesh edifying/gratifying behavior and now have it displayed before them as 'unto the Lord'. Confusing?

If it is OK to dance in a frenzied manner like that, perhaps it is also OK to drink, smoke, make out etc. - the type of things that usualy go along with unbridled, twisting, hair tossing, snorting, acting out behavior such as that routine.

People are being goaded to new heights - new heights of 'letting it all go' .
I would guess that it was because of this type of behavior that Paul stated that 'all things should be done decently and in order.'

I was commenting on the video link rather than the 'demonic' comment. No matter how you slice and dice it, though, there's just so much wrong with that whole video segment in the context of what is being called a Christian gathering.

It may not be demonic, but it sure opens the door to the demonic realm.

Okay, so it's demonic.

so what kind of dancing opens the door? fast dancing, slow dancing, dumb dancing, dancing if the music is loud or repetitive or...

does the scripture warn against dancing in worship services? or do we want to form our own criteria?

"opens the door"...broad concept.

some things are just flesh or misguided or...

"demonic" is a trump card though. maybe it helps the cause to label it all demonic.

It's either of God or of satan. There's no gray area.

Lord...I lift that poor woman up in prayer. I pray that you will speak to her heart and release her from this false move of God. I pray that she will TRULY worship you. I ask this in Jesus Name...Amen

Where does it say that in Scripture? A person can act in and of themselves - do we have to go around saying "The devil made me do it?"

And further, why do some people on these posts seem to go out of their way to find something to disagree with? Isn't it obvious I do not agree with the goings on at Lakeland? Stop trying to be right - that's not what this is about. Thanks

The gentleman from england who use to do the very same thing that Todd Bentley does and has now repented, was on Way of the Master radio today.

You can go to the website and listen to today's program.

It is on hour 2, about 3/4 into the radio program.

His name is I believe Mark Havel.
