I guess it's time to stop playing Couch Potatoe and get into doing all the yard work and cleaning out the garage and your workshop. What is the most unusual thing that you have found in either your garage or workshop besides a dead mouse?

I don't have a garage, but I do have a workshop. It needs a good going over. It ate my hot glue gun several years ago and I haven't found it sense. Still looking for it.

Well, I found a snake skin a few weeks ago. Wasn't too happy about that.

I found about a 2 - 2 1/2 foot long black snake. I don't know what kind it was, but now it's a dead snake.

Which is probably why I didn't find any dead mice around...

There's a squirrel nest in my garage. They live in a box I have stored above a cabinet. They aren't causing any problems, so I'll let them stay there rent-free for a while. I do need to repair the sagging eave they come in and out of, so eventually they will be evicted.

No snakes in my neighborhood that I'm aware of.

I've got bike repairs to do, and some cement work that crumbled this winter. It'll be an easy fix, but necessary, as water runs into part of the garage.

I found a wasp nest about the size of a volleyball in the wall of the garage behind the insulation. Got stung three times.

I used to have a garage. Glad I don't anymore in a way. Have a storage shed now where everything is in order. Kind of miss doing the woodwork tho in the garage.

We'll be moving in about 6 months, so I'm just waiting until then.
Will probably need a roll off dumpster to get rid of the stuff we kept and don't need. It's amazing what we've collected in 3 years since our last move.

lol i know what you mean by that! Good luck in the clean up process, it took me a long time to get through all my things. So i just used the dumpster, i said to myself I could live with just throwing things out so it would be easier to move lol.

We haven't moved in 15 years or so. Don't even want to think about it.

Ditto - about 11 years. Basements and garages just prove the laws of magnetics as they attract things, and never let go!

LOL Yeap, one reason we've stayed on the move... keep all the girly junk cleaned outta my garage!
First 2 moves have been for jobs. But since then, it's been to better our equity position... being able to buy cheap, remodel or build on land I got at a steal, and take advantage of rolling over the gains. But with this move, I'm finally getting my lake front home and it'll be the one to stay for 8-10 years... unless I find something better in 3 years!
