How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer?

karlie -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/4/2008 11:44:01 AM)

I check/clean the filter before I start every single load. My husband cleans the vent system out once a month.

Every load.

cindybode -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/4/2008 4:18:48 PM)

Every load. It's because I'm cheap. Your dryer will take longer to dry the clothes if the filter is full.

I try to do every load but every other is probably more realistic

I check it before every load, but only clean it when necessary. Usually ever other load is about how often I clean it.

I clean it EVERY time I start the dryer...which sometimes is more then every load (if I have to restart it because it isn't quite dry yet or has sat there and needs to be fluffed up).

his_chosen -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/4/2008 6:56:04 PM)

Every load.

sunshine4God -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/4/2008 10:57:30 PM)

every load

garsyt -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/5/2008 12:03:39 AM)

After every load, just the surface area clean on the filter, not the deep down in the dryer kind of cleaning.

doinkdom -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/6/2008 2:04:48 PM)

before every load

twice a month, I put the filter in the dishwasher to get rid of any residue

The filter screen...every time.

The tubing to outside, my husband does it a couple times a year...whenever I notice that it's taking longer to dry stuff.

You all are good at remembering! I check every three to four loads!

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: How often do you clean the lint filter in your dryer? (5/7/2008 8:05:33 AM)

I must have seriously linty clothes...if I didn't clean it every time, they would never dry!

My dyer reminds me to or else I would forget. I clean it with every load.

The filter screen eery load.

I haven't done the exhaust tubing. After reading the other thread about a dryer fire I will do that before the next load goes in.
