The title speaks for itself.

"What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? "

Ok..the opposite gender in my case is masculine, I do appreciate the different make up to begging with and its amazing in itself when it comes together with integrity of character, commomsense of many traits that are plain good to both genders, of course because of bio chemics that goes inside people from different genders it plays out unique and more unique because of peoples individuality, experiences and etcs.

I like the masculine uniqueness and uniqueness of individuals that are good and were bought by God and walk with Him passionatly, steady, and the doing good follow them until the end because they are redeemed and do know without doubt that The Reddemer lives. That is awesome just awesome comming from masculine hearts and fiding inside going outside and expressing in different persons from same masculine gender.

Now, some of those flow more melodic with me for some reasons, yep it does flows different and we learn lessons and get more insight and maybe more wiser etc, at least here on earth as we are earthly vessels and things looks blurry and etc sooo distracting, we miss mark, not know full pictures, intentions of others and many etcs we sure many times are clueless as we go our ways of men/women, even when we belong to God, of course... - now in our eternal residence it will be heavenly all over and perfect because of Him and we finally got home and into commom family of God and "etc" wow "eternal etc" only God knows, of course because He runs the Home!

OMG!

Now I travelled and went off topic, I think..ops...

Hugs! [sm=hug.gif][:D]

Quite the contrary, I'm flattered.

Any woman who can make stuffed grape leaves AND bakalva deserves the accolades.

Personally, I've never been able to get through the process of making bakalava without tearing up all my phyllo.

CoeurdeLeon -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 11:19:37 AM)

Thanks for being a good sport and letting me mess with ya, Jazzlvr.[:D]

You hafta keep the phyllo covered while you're working or it'll dry out and then you can't do anything with it.[sm=chef.gif]

So, did anyone want to get us back on topic?[8D]

Tinkerbell_ -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 11:25:52 AM)

Okay...here's a few I was thinking of last night.

Knows the difference between a Star Destroyer and a Death Star.

Knows why I groan after saying "Lumos!" when entering a room.

Eats the nuts out of a shared ice cream sundae. (I don't like them and there's something very unattractive about a woman spitting nuts on a napkin beside her bowl)

Yells right along with me when I get totally pwned by Thing 1 on COD 4 or SW BF II.

Can quote at least one complete Monty Python movie.

And a HUGE attraction:

Doesn't close his eyes when riding in a car with me! [:D]

JustJeannie -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 12:20:19 PM)

LMHO, Tink! Too funny... I did get the "Lumos" one, btw.

How about if I'm able to recognize all of the names?

Tinkerbell_ -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 1:31:20 PM)

LOLOL!!! Most anyone could do that, silly boy.

But since you are at least familiar with the song it counts. [:)]

jazzlvr -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 2:02:29 PM)

It's almost as funny as the philosophers soccer game.

I haven't met many women who think Monty Python is funny. That's a trait I might have to add to my list.

FunBetty -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/7/2008 2:07:39 PM)

I appreciate a man who is willing to be seen with a girl wearing the opposing team's jersey.

I also appreciate a man who likes cheesecake.

If she's wearing the opposing team's jersey, then she's not cheesecake!

Honesty ranks right up there. But after that :

-> chivalry is nice

-> the ability to carry on a good conversation is key & that doesn't mean just to talk. Knowing when to be silent and just appreciate each other's presence is an important part of conversing.

-> respecting my views even if you don't agree with them is also quite attractive

Resonance -> RE: What (non-physical) trait do you appreciate about the opposite gender? (5/9/2008 11:49:01 AM)

I grew up with large doses of Britcoms.

I still get large doses.

In any case, on topic:

I appreciate a man who is a MAN and has FRIENDS.

I appreciate a man who does not treat me like I'm delicate all the time - for example, don't feel the need to ask me if I'm "ok" or if you're "going too fast" on the motorcycle, if you have one. I will respond with "Heck, no. Go faster." if you do. [:D]

I appreciate a man who is honest. At the same time, to be fair, I have never asked ANYBODY if "these jeans make my butt look big"...[8D]

I appreciate a man who will inform me if he is going to be insanely busy with something (i.e. studying for exams). Don't expect me to understand that you 'ignore everybody' when you're that busy, so you can do well. I'll assume something is wrong if I don't have a reason. I'll get worried about you before I start wondering if I did something wrong. [;)]

On that end, I appreciate a man that can communicate well.

-Kaman

Well, i like their differing voices!!! [:D]

I like men who smile.

I like their laughs.

I like having conversations.

I like it when guys help other people.

Their love for the Lord.

Their tenderness when holding little ones.
