ORIGINAL: TomTurn Every time I hear of cadidates going on Spanish speaking TV, radio and having spanish websites and all, it makes me wonder are their that many people born in the U.S. who do not speak english but only spanish to need this? Since you have to be a citizen to vote, why all the pandering to non english media (spanish only for the most part)? Unless they are admitting that non citizens are voting in large numbers? Come out to California, especially southern[8D] First generation immigrants, even when they become citizens, do not understand or speak English fluently, because it is a second language. Very few people are able to be fluent in two languages. A dear friend of our family was born in Korea and came here as an adult. She is a college educated professional and a US citizen. But her English falters at times. She doesn't watch movies often because it is frequently hard to follow dialogue (because of the frequent use of slang, innuendo, etc) common to English. Another Korean-American I know watches Korean TV by satellite for the same reason. IOW if you get your head away from FOX Republican News and think and listen, your paranoia might drop a degree or so. There is no evidence voter fraud is increasing or that it is tied to immigration in any meaningful way.
