How did that originate? In man. Heh, I forget when exactly, but they were definitely added well after the original authors. In fact, the original manuscripts didn't even have punctuation marks, and were written entirely in capitol letters. quote:
And are we using the bible correctly by isolating a verse and using it for however it suits our needs? Absolutely, positively not. This is not the say that individual verses can't carry weight in and of themselves, but they must always be studied in context to make sure they really deserve the weight we give them.
