My husband is an awesome father. He spends lots of time with his son, has taught him right from wrong and has been a great role model for Jack. When we found out we were having a girl I thought for sure I would have to tell my husband to quit being so harsh with our daughter. It is the opposite. I have had to tell him not to let Jessica talk back to him or not to let her hit him etc.. He told me in a rather sad way ~ " I told you when they said we were having a girl that I was in big trouble"

My dd is a strong willed, stubborn, independent child (much like her father). My dh and I both actually have a harder time disciplining ds because 1 we really rarely need to and 2, he's such a sensitive child! But dh an dd, on the other hand, sometimes really work each other! She's more of a challenge to discipline, harder to get through to, but he doesn't have a problem doing it.
