[sm=popsigh.gif] Need prayer - starting to freak out a little. Last Thursday & Friday I went to the eye dr. & he believed I have papilledema - a swelling of the optic nerve due to an increase in intercranial pressure, probably from an over production of spinal fluid - it's called pseudotumor celebri or pseudo-papilledema. Saw the neurologist yesterday & he doesn't believe I have a tumor or anything really serious (thank God!!!!). Has ordered an MRI for the 20th & if that comes back clean (& he believes it will), wants to do a lumbar puncture to find out why my pressure is high. I'm not worried about the MRI, but I am scared to death about the lumbar puncture. It hasn't even been scheduled yet & I'm already starting to hyperventilate over it. Please pray that God will heal the pressure situation. I've read that pseudotumor cerebri doesn't always respond to the diuretic treatment (can last up to 6 months or more) & can be an ongoing problem. I just want to be well. I'm sick of hearing my pulse in my ear, the headaches, the fatigue, & am terrified of the lumbar puncture (I know, I'm a big baby). Just pray that God will calm my nerves & deal with this thing.

Do not worry! It doesn't help!
Trust God, have faith!
Get into the Scriptures!!!

I know its scary, try not to worry...God is there with you right now and he knows you are worried. Lord, I just ask that you give peace and comfort to shanobeigh right now. Please heal their eye completely Lord so that they don't have to feel these headaches, pulsations and the fatigue, that they just live a happy, peaceful life now Lord..

Our Heavenly Father,
We ask for you to give peace, wisdom, joy and understanding to shanobeigh.
We ask that you give healing to them in all that surrounds these issues.
We ask that you show them that you are the Healer and all we need do is say Your name.
