The Democrats are no better than the Republicans when it comes to "smear" tactics.
Oh, and it wasn't such a "landslide".
The Dems don't have that large of a majority at all in Congress.
I wouldn't be so certain of a "landslide" win for Clinton or Obama.
IIRC, the Democrat-led Congress has yet to do anything since they got power and how long has it been? 2 years?
All those empty promises....just imagine the damage they could do with a Democratic president in the WH.ugh.

all I have to say about President Bush's statement and BO's outrage is the truth hurts. If there was no way they could be seen as sympathizers then they would have laughed it off.

Has CNN identified who these aides were or is this just something they said to help them smear the president?
How do we know that Bush wasn't speaking about Jimmy Carter's recent talks with Hamas? It would seem more likely that this is what Bush was talking about seeing how his entire administration had denounced this action.

Bush being in Israel for the 2nd time in 8 years like he really supports Israel, what a joke!
And then to being up US shameful histyory with Hitler, like we really helped Jews, how many could've been saved in 7 years we diidnt go?
Abe Lincoln said"if I make my enemies my friends, are they still my enemies?
We need to talk to people period. Us not talking has done nothing , bombs are still being made, etc.
All presidents send people to talk, how many things have been avoided because we talked?

GWB said nothing out of line. Obama is weak on terrorism and he doesn't want anyone to point it out. He's a liberal. How could he be anything but weak? They want to tell our enemies our plans, undo our spy network and give them lawyers to get out of prison.

Yeah, this has been going on since the hanging chads in Florida in 2000. World record? Wish they would get over it. But, if somehow McCain happens to win in November, can you imagine the chaos that's going to happen, and how soon the next campaign for 2012 will begin?

I don't understand how any real aide would think it was safe to tell CNN (or any other media) anything. They certainly should be smart enough to know it would be in the next newscast. Since these "sources" are never named, they may not really exist. They could be (oh perish the thought!) made up by the media. Whaddya think?
