Duet 31:10 Then Moses commanded them: "At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Feast of Tabernacles, 11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing. 12 Assemble the people--men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns--so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words of this law. 13 Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." I believe, this has been traditionally interpreted as the entire Torah. Probably, a 24 Hr thing, like the traditional all-nighter on Shavaot.

Hi all. Bluethread thanks for the observation on the ttreatis keeping the feasts. I think for the next newsletter column, am going to excerpt a part of the commentary from First Fruits of Zion, concerning the Benediction in Numbers 6. The devotion for today from Voice of the Lord, would be good to use too, give reason for the hope that is within you.. The gist is praise God for what he has done in you as opposed to arguing from an intellectual standpoint. Helping believers grow and being a witness is what it's all about.. I gotta get back to work but wanted to drop in, on an otherwise rushed lunch hour here. Lapidoth you are truly a testimony to God's ability to sustain one, you keep on praising Him despite your losses. Many would become bitter. I won't be back until next week so send each a shalom shabbat, I'll be listening to a part of the service from Congregation Melech in Toronto CA, or inspiredfaith.org, on Saturday. See you soon!

ORIGINAL: Above_All Hi everyone! It's time that I return. I see we have had some new faces here! For those of you who don't know me, I've been away for awhile. Ha. Our Rabbi is on his yearly visit to Israel with his tour group that he leads. I think he also took the group to Greece this year to visit places like Ephesus, etc... I so can't wait to go one day. But right now DF and I are trying to decide about our ceremony. And p31! Did you get married? How did it go? Sorry if you already posted about that. Shalom Shabbat, and welcome back Above_all. We went to my nephew's graduation open house last evening, held outside at my brother's home and very enjoyable. Mostly family and few close friends attended. I guess as we get older or wiser, gfellowship comes to mean more to one. Well, off to have a little quiet time and put on some music from inspiredfaith.org to make the Shabbat special! Also, happy first day of summer, or whatever day it is, as you read this! David

ORIGINAL: Above_All Thank you David! I am sooo excited! Next week is the grand opening of The Ends of the Earth Prayer Tower. I'll blog more about it soon. But basically we are having someone from the Prayer Tower in Jeruselum come to speak and we will connect with them as well, praying for the nation and for Yeshua's quick return! They also have a major announcement. I know a little about it already. FH and I are still deciding what we would like to incorporate for our upcoming wedding that is Messianic. Hi Above-all and everyone. What a work day, glad it's behind me. Are Messianic weddings pretty long given the services are somewhat lengthy compared to most?Quite joy-filled or is that up to the couple? I ended up listening to the Shabbat service on line from Congregation Melech and was really blessed! I had never heard an MJ service before, this one was about 3 hours long with singing, the message about the Mishkan, prayer and singing, I believe they used something called the Siddur, the torah service, and a baby dedication to end the service. I must say as I listening thought if this was like worship in Yeshua's time on earth what a treat to experience similar today.. It won't be the last time I listen to this. Above_all, When you post again, please say more about the prayer tower if you don't mind. Gotta run but see you wonderful folk soon!

And p31! Did you get married? How did it go? Sorry if you already posted about that. The ceremony itself went great (don't get me started on all the failings of our coordinator, though ). The main cantor from my synagogue, an Israeli, performed our ceremony. Since DH isn't Messianic, we incorporated a chuppah, and the 7 Blessings, kiddush, the Aaronic benediction and vows all in Hebrew and English, but left out the blowing of the shofar, the ketubah, the breaking of the glass, and a few other elements. HERE's a very short video, showing us under the chuppah, and at the end, talking to Shaul, our officiant.

ORIGINAL: LBolt Congratulation P31woman, I pray you have a glorious marriage. You gotta break him in early. LOL Shalom everyone! I played for our church service Saturday evening, and for the offertory played, Above All, and like the line "You took the fall, instead of me, above all." I truly value each one of you, thanks for letting me share a part of your life. Need prayer as there are changes occurring with regard to my work and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the new challenges, I like Isa 41:10 and 42:16 in seasons like these.. Also, played around here and subscribed to a forum called General Faith, but didn't realize it was for a specific group of believers, so unsubscribed. Nonetheless, participated where I could in the 4 days I was a part of it. Kind of doing the torah's instructive "to be a blessing." Gotta go but thanks again, pray with and for you often..

Hi Dave. I've been impressed to make a whole new prayer list for my daily prayers. I guess it began as I took a work call and it turned out to be a pastor's wife. She sensed I was "christian" and I told her I was a pastor. And we discussed some of the things that happens in churches. Since then, I've really been impressed to not just pray a one time prayer, but to make a list of those who need prayer and to do it "without ceasing." So, long story shorter, I've added you to my prayer list under "Ministers." I'll be praying in general until the HS prompts me in specifics. My e-mail is carlkeigley@hotmail.com in the event you need it. Waving "howdy" to everyone else. I had such a wonderful First Day yesterday. I worked myself silly, but the weather was just perfect for a change. Mowed, weed eated, trimmed trees and bushes, and then floated in the pool with the grandkids at the end of the day. Had to take a muscle relaxer before going to bed so I could make it to work today. lol. The wife commented how it seems there's [edit] more time since we started keeping Sabbath. I knew what she meant, but I was working Sunday while she was watching the grandkids in the pool. lol. but we do since a more rested time when we rest as opposed at keeping Sunday as unto the Lord.

If the Word says in Romans that if we, as Gentiles have become blessed because of some fallen branches and that we will be even more blessed when those branches return, how can we not pray for them? Baruch Haba Beshem YHWH! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the L-rd! I was thinking what a gas it would be to have a Hawaiin Luah (sp?) Messianic Style for Tabernacles. That should get some eye-brows. I always pray for the "Safety of Israel" and the "Peace of Jerusalem."

Hi all. Help is on the way with regard to the work issues, thanks..... Lapidoth, you'll be hearing from me bro, thanks for the prayers and E-address if needed. Hmm, that table for 2 is gonna have to become an endless circular table if we can all get to Hawaii for Feast of Tabernacles some day, love lamb broiled or grilled!! My wife buys it occasionally when both kids are gone and she is in the mood for someother dish but still chooses to share dinner with me. What sends them all is liver & onions.. :) smile wide!! I think though with you folks, lamb would do nicely. When's dinner? hehehehehehe
