My time is far too valuable to waste on changing your cats litter box. Tell the cat to use the outhouse.

Before your furniture could possibly be rearranged, it needs to be examined to determine if it is the cause of your itching.
Please provide a list of Matthew's allergies and the components of his furniture so it can be determined if his furniture needs rearranged--or taken away.
