There's a McDonald's in South Station? I guess I didn't notice it. I know where all the food places are, but I just don't remember seeing it there. Oh well, no big loss!

Well inside the train station portion of it. Not sure if the bus terminal has one as well, but I do think that the bus portion has a Dunkin Donuts though.

Oh, do all the trains come in at the same place? I was meeting my friend who was arriving on the Providence commuter rail. I think I had some absurdly overpriced pizza while I was waiting for him to arrive.

When was the last time that you were there? I forgot that trains from Maine come into North Station instead. There was originally going to be a planned link between the 2 stations with the Big Dig, however after several upon several cost overruns, they scrapped it instead. And after that, they still didn't build the Big Dig right!

Anyway, at South Station, the McDonalds is due left of the Pizza place, which is a Pizzeria Regina now, it is good pizza! There used to be a Sbarro there instead.

Still, it's not that far between North and South Stations. But yes, Pizzeria Regina was the place and it was probably 1.5 years ago.

Not far, but disrupts the original plan of having inter-city train routes though.

I'll take the hunting sections. Sharon can take either the housewares or furniture section. Or, the curtain aisle for that matter.

Now that we have a list, just what do we do with it? Are we all doing this on the same day/time?

(Synchronize watches! Ready...ready...HACK!)

Robb....

Realistically I can't see how we can all be in the same place at the same time. (We could TRY...) I was thinking of giving a time span of say, a whole weekend... and the whole idea is for each person to take a pic in their respective section (I with my cameraphone...).

Does that sound cool with ppl? Walmart any time between Friday and Sunday this weekend???

Well, the same place would make it a genuine GT.

(Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Works for me. Any excuse to get out of the house is good. (Except no traveling this weekend - did it the past two and I'm beat!)

Can I still sign up for this? I don't know if there's any sections available still, but I'm up for random adventure in Wal-Mart.

Sure thing broyce! There's lots of stuff available. No one has even touched the food section. We also have clothing (men's women's kids), shoes, craft section, stationary, toys (non-water guns- I took that spot), bicycles, automotive, customer service, checkout lines, books, and parking lot.

OK, parking lot sounds fun! The closest one to me is fairly small for a Wal-Mart so I'm not sure if all those sections are available here.

I've never taken a picture of myself before (sounds weird), but I'll give it a try. I'll take ladies shoes, definitely.

Oh, and if it turns out stupid, nobody's seeing it!

Okay Broyce! Can't wait to hear all about your parking lot adventures!!

(anyone who has ever been to walmart would know that the parking lot itself is the biggest adventure!)

Yup, they can be an adventure! I slept in my car in a Wal-Mart parking lot once and there's nothing scarier than waking up to the sound of somebody collecting the stray shopping carts at 4AM.

I once saw two cars backing out of their spots really slowly and then hitting each other. You'd think that one of them would have bothered to use a rear view mirror.

I'll have to do my picture taking on Wednesday. I won't be available this Saturday. However... One question... Where do I send the pic after I've taken it?!
