I really want to (Although I think twice when I consider the burnout rate and the fact that ministry really seems to be something that isn't for everyone). I don't know if I would like everything about ministry but I know I would love giving sermons.
I earned a license to preach in the United Methodist Church 30+ years ago, but often thank God that I was never given responsibility for handling human lives. My strength lies in the area of handling information, rather than people, or things. So, I'm happy to serve God and man as a technical writer with big ambitions. For example, I recently submitted an article on intercultural communication to a magazine published by an Islamic foundation. God has called me to write for His glory -- and it's way past time for me to do so, in a productive and prolific way.
