I read the book when it first came out and, as I remember, it was written to Christians. Most of the articles on his web site are intended for believers.

But I have heard him take on some pretty self-important atheists in serious debates, as I mentioned, as well as numerous college students. The college students weren't nearly as erudite as they thought and most came across as sophomoric as their logic unraveled.
