It's only one dollar something an hr but it is the principle that matters most to me and I am pleased[:)]. We got a new supervisor and she has seen that I am in the top 5% of performers out of all the workers (over 200). The other supervisor was intimidated by me I think (even though I gave her no reason to be) cause she always avoided me. Gone up from 21.05 an hr to 22.98 an hr. I am happy I have been rewarded for my haRD WORK. It's only a job to get me through TAFE. It is a casual job but that's ok cause I always get the shifts I choose because of the quality and quantity of my work. It's social research and can get repetative but I don't mind so much because most of the jobs we get are for the government so I feel like I am contibuting in some way. The other centres also call me asking me if I want more work so that is handy when there is a lull in jobs. I feel like I have a long way to go but gee I have also come a long way and I am grateful to God for giving me focus and energy and joy to carry on.[:)][sm=funny.gif][sm=funny.gif][sm=funny.gif][sm=kitty.gif]

WOW, that's almost $2.00 an hour or $80.00 a week, $320.00 a month. I'd say that's a BIG raise!! Congrats and God bless.

Yes, thanks everyone. I am learning what it means to work like unto the Lord. Which we are exhorted to do. I feel blessed, even security guards don't get that much. Some other qualified people don't get that much. It is quite amazing really. I praise God each day as I feel He is favouring me in my work, my study and my physical work in the gym as well. My children are also being convicted by God and getting themselves right before Him. Even though my middle son is a little wild still. I am sure God will deal with him too as I keep praying for him. Not being arrogant but it was a long time overdue. In March and April I was in the top 10% of highest performance but the supervisor then felt threatened by me or something. Not sure really. I suspect I was also performing high before that but haven't seen the stats from then. I try and ask up front but a lot of people don't want to be up front. Anyway I shall let bygones be bygones and start from here. Glad about this supervisor. She is hard but she is a straight shooter and I like that. What I have said is that I think that the other high performers who have been neglected should also get a pay rise. I am a union delgate so I have to deal with injustices as it's my duty. She told me she will review all the ones that went up in pay without performance as well. It's tough but fair.
