I got this update this morning, but I was at VBS so i didn't see it until now. quote: Brian's surgery went well last night. Both the arm and leg surgeon were very pleased with what they were able to do in putting his bones back together. Donna and I were able to see him around 1am. The Dr.s anticipate him being in the hospital 4-5 days. Please pray for strength and rest for Donna, for her kids to be at peace and have fun this week at VBS and for Brian for quick healing. I saw Noah a bit today. As a part of Bible Blast the kids were asked to draw the activities that we we loved doing with the people that we were most thankful for. Of course, Noah said that he was thankful for his dad and that he missed him, but when it came to draw, he couldn't bring himself to do it. I saw that he was near tears and so I put a dot on him and scooted him ways from the drawings. I think that he doing really well, but it shows that he is struggling. I do think that the kids had a lot of fun today though.

Praying here. Thanks for the update. Sad about Noah. Do the kids get to see their dad? I know in some hospitals and depending on the nature of the injury that children aren't allowed in at all... Maybe they will get to spend time with him soon, and it won't be so bad. :( I was just thanking Donna this past week for being such an encourager to me...being there to listen to my concerns about EVERYTHING, and just being so helpful and supportive.
