I know you have concerns but I always chuckle when I think about a hospital NOT deliving babies. If you are in full labor, you can't cross your legs and drive yourself to the next town.

There is another huge hospital connected to this one by a bridge that DOES deliver babies, so no worries. But I really want to not have the baby while Brian is in the hospital, and also, I want to be at MY tiny little hospital, where all my other kids were born. Seems like a silly thing to be picky about right now, but...too bad.

Thanks for the prayers, everyone! See you in a few days, maybe. Have to wait until Brian is semi-okay after his surgery before I'll get another overnight break.

Donna, thanks for the update. It is so good to hear from you. I have miss you and Brian so much. I have been so worried about Noah. I know he worries a lot as it is.

Both my babies were born in the same town as Poppa & I. I get it.

Cross your legs to cross the bridge?

I'm thinking about your kiddlings - I know how they worry (chillen in general) because they don't always understand what they are hearing.

Okay, I almost just had my second meltdown today, when I saw our picture posted there.

I *WILL* see my husband smile like that again. He *WILL* be so goofingly himself that I just can't help but kiss him and kick his behind at the same time. I *WILL* feel those strong arms around me again. I *WILL* have that Brian back someday, and that is more than enough.

We are seeing miracles happen and God WILL be glorified, even on the days we struggle.

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

(((((( Donna))))) You are surrounded with love and prayer!!

Good to see your post.

Donna I am still praying for you, your husband, & the children. I wish there was something else I could do. If you should find something I can do for you from here, please, let me know in the mean time I will continue to keep you all in prayer.

I do have an idea for someone that is close to where Donna is. Why do you not print this thread off and take the pages to Donna, so she can read them to her husband? It might help him to know that we are all praying for them.

Donna, what a mighty woman of God you are! A meltdown here and there is good and healing don't worry about that at all. Praying for that littlest to stay put, praying for Brian's surgery to be on Friday, praying for the children, esp. Noah, praying, praying, praying.

Donna, It's good to hear from you! Poor Brian! We're praying for you all and that God just keeps his hand on Brian, the kids, you, and the baby.

You go with those meltdowns when you need to...those are actually healthy! Holding it in will only create more physical stress to your body, and that, you don't need!

Praying for you!

I don't think that is silly! It's like me having mine at home...you want to be where you are comfortable and have a reasonable expectation of how things will go. That's sensible, not silly!

Donna - It was SO NICE to see your pretty purple font! I'm relieved to hear that you are experiencing melt downs. To me, that means you are processing this nightmare quite well. You and your family are continually in my prayers. I love you!

Jeanie, whatchu doing up so early?

Denny, I can answer you here because I know eventually when Donna reads this thread she will be okay with it....you do know I had a baby in March, right? I didn't let on till the last second here on the forums but I had a baby boy in March -- Adam Paul -- that's him in the avatar.

He decided to wake his mother up to eat at 5:18 this morning. He never wakes up that early anymore so I was dragging myself out of bed to do it, and afterwards thought immediately of Brian and Donna so I wanted to log on and see what was going on. I'm glad I did because I really felt connected to Donna right then as she was probably still online, and when I went back to bed I said some good long prayers for their family.

So anyhow, Baby Stuff. That's what I was doing up so early. And praying for Donna and Brian's family.

Donna, I've started praying specifically for you with your feelings on the other driver. That kind of stuff takes time, you know that already. We all know you'll get there but while Brian is in the hospital it's going to be really hard to be anything but mad at the other driver for putting him there.

Praying for ALL involved. Praising God for Brian's good medical team and that Brian was in good, strong health prior to the accident and is doing so well despite his injuries.

And praying for the babies today -- all by name: Noah, Nick, Hannah, Levi and Baby September.

Love,
Jeanie

(((((((((Donna))))))))))) Thanks for taking the time to let us know exactly what happened. By the way, I too feel mad at that driver for taking up the whole road like that. I am so glad you are able to help out Brian. It must be so weird/freaky/frustrating seeing him so up and down like that. He is so lucky he has you Donna! And I am just glad he is ok (well ok as he can be I suppose ). Oh, and you should have told the insurance lady that the car is fine. The tractor managed to just hit your husband and not the car... Uhhhh derrrrrrrrrr. Like come on!

Donna, I can remember two instances where someone hit another. The first was many years ago, my friend was riding his bike and got hit by a car coming down the street. That driver would continue to come by my friend's home to express his sorrow and apologies for the act he was involved in. The second time I am thinking of was not too long ago when my next door neighbor hit a kid right around the corner from where we lived. I know of his regret at being involved in that, the pain he felt at causing injury to another person.

So, even though we all can understand your feelings toward the tractor driver now, when the compassion that I know Jesus will give you toward him comes, be at peace with it.

You, Brian and the kids are all loved by us, being prayed for by us and most importantly, are being cared for by our loving Father.
