Praying here too. I know it's hard to deal with the combativeness,but it really is the drugs talking. I had to deal with it with my mother and even the nurses knew that her being combative was not normal.

Talked to Donna y'all.
Sounds very perky and Donna-like LOL 
Brian *should* be having his surgery this afternoon. Providing of course, a more urgent case doesn't come in.
After that, he should have a few more days where he is, then move it in-patient rehab.
He's very Brian-like today she says...he's getting back to his ornery self
She also knows it's going to be a tough couple of days after the surgery with the meds on board.
BUT, the worst is almost over!!
She found out very good news about her insurance...it's going to pay for every day he's in the hospital and every 2 days he's at home recovering. There's also a disability clause that'll pay 250 dollars the first month and 500 a month for up to 6 months...between that and state disability, she says they'll probably be making more than when he was working LOL
Very God-like IMHO, taking something so terrible and hiding a blessing in the midst. 
That's the scoop. Her plans for today include a nice,long nap while Brian's in surgery...

I pray that you be with the surgeons today as they care for Brian. Guide their hands, Father, that they can knit him back together better than he was before. Give Donna the rest she so desperately needs while he is in surgery. Provide her with peace, calm her fears and remind her that You are with her and Brian every step of the way.
I pray for Noah, Nick, Hanna, Levi and the new baby. Keep them all healthy and strong right now. Keep Your hand of protection over them and surround them with the love they need. In Your name, Amen.
