Hi LiveLoved! You're right, pumpkin soup is delicious. It's definitely a recipe keeper; although my DH isn't too fond of the sausage in it. He asked if I will subsitute it for hamburger next time. Have you tried it with hamburger? Tonight I had leftover pumpkin soup and made DH breakfast for supper (eggs, bacon and ham).

No, I don't put any meat in my pumpkin soup. But I'm sure it would be good that way. . . some spicy sausage. Tonight I'm thinking of making pizza. I haven't done that in a long time. Or perhaps just a big pot of soup. I'd better get off the computer and start cooking. See ya.

We had a pre- Thanksgiving dinner at my MIL's house. She loves to make the full menu before the holiday. We had turkey, sweet potatoes with apples, broccoli and mushrooms, honey wheat bread that I made and brought and pumpkin pie.

BBQ Cola Meatballs on rice (a variation of THIS RECIPE). It was OK; couldn't really taste the cola.
