Can I come in if someone in my house is a tea addict?

I like tea, but I can't say I'm addicted. I am addicted to coffee. My oldest daughter definitely qualifies as a tea addict, though. I was in Linens & Things when it was closing and found her this cute little electric teapot/warmer with even cuter little cups and spoons, so now she is worse than before.

Hi Cindy! Nice to see you in other areas of the forums!!!

The pumpkin tea was definitely better with just honey. Although, can I say how disappointed I am that Tim Horton's in the US doesn't offer steeped tea?!?!? I am happy they have apple cider, but it's just not the same!!

They usually let me out every third Monday if I've been good.

Anyone want a cup of Rooibos?? I steeped one but am far to tired to stay up to drink it. It has just a tiny spoonful of honey in it.

I think I'm the only tea drinker around these parts ... maybe I need to go see FunBetty for some Terapies to soothe my disappointment.

I've had to cut way back on my tea drinking because the caffeine keeps me awake at night, even if I drink it at noon. I'm allowing myself one cup of the good stuff if I get up early enough in the morning. I haven't found a caffeine-free "tea" yet that I really like. I wish I could.

Ice tea ~ mmm ~

I am from the south, sweet tea (cold) is a staple to our diet :)

Yup - down here its a food group

I hate to travel to the northern territories, they just can't seem to make a good cup of tea. And <gasp> some restaurants don't even offer it.
Talk about evil -

Its the best tea in the universe for ice tea. altho I prefer Lipton
I now mix the two.

I need to invest in a good tea pot and start trying some of the fancy teas.

Oh...Karaboo, I've been drinking hot tea a lot lately...I've been drinking apple cinnamon tea because it's near Thanksgiving, and when it nears Christmas, I'll switch to Peppermint. I only let myself have one cup of coffee in the morning each day, so after that, if I drink a hot drink, it's tea. I hope herbal tea counts! I'm glad you linked to this thread on your siggy line..I've been wanting to visit, but it's been buried.

I am at work and there's no tea here. I had a cup last night, though. Does that count?

It is when you work in a hospital. We live on coffee.

Coffee is Evil
Tea is divine

I survive on the bottle lipton tea while roaming in the universe
or Red Diamond a better local brand

Although I must confess that I do like a Mocha especially on chilly mornings.

Yup. You haven't quite lived till you've had coffee from the hospital cafeteria at 2am. It's quite an experience.

I'll take your word on that. I know how hospital tea tastes at 2am ... I've never been brave enough to try the coffee ....

I should clarify that tea is available in the cafeteria, which is quite a hike from where I work, but there is none in my office. I wouldn't want anyone to think that the hospital I work for discriminates against tea drinkers.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I didn't leave the floor to get the tea, either. It was when Caleb spent time in Paed's ... they had a small parent's kitchen, but they only seemed to have store brand tea, which combined with the local water tastes . The nurses always had a hot pot of coffee brewing, but I only have regular coffee once or twice per year. (I kept forgetting to bring my own tea back to the hospital whenever I came home to freshen up)

I actually had a cup of peppermint tea yesterday afternoon. It was a total accident (I grabbed the wrong teabag ... I had been reaching for the Chai). I like peppermint as well, but imagine my surprise when I went to take a sip and had the powerful scent of peppermint hit my nose when I was expecting cinnamon and cardamom ....

Good, hot, tea can't be beat! When I say "tea" I mean the actual tea plants, not so-called herbal 'tea.'

I like to put milk in tea, except for Earl Grey, which I don't like that much anyways. I like ALL milk in Chai.
