This is a thread where we will be identifying known bugs.

Please check this thread before posting new messages about a bug... chances are we already are aware of it.

Fritzpw_Admin -> Images Not Displaying (4/12/2005 8:37:53 AM)

The forums is currently set up to run on two different servers for load balancing purposes.

As a result some images are being saved on one and not the other.

This causes images to not be displayed consistently.

Images like avatars, imbedded images in posts, and photo gallery images.

We are aware of the problem and will be working to resolve the issue.

Fritzpw_Admin -> Subscription Email Notifications (4/12/2005 8:42:10 AM)

Some individuals are receiving a lot of Email Notifications for subscriptions.

Please be sure to go to "My Subscriptions" and uncheck the box next to where it says "email" for the threads you wish to watch.



Fritzpw_Admin -> Read Discussions Not Clearing (4/12/2005 8:43:16 AM)

In some cases a person will read all the discussions in a folder but for some reason the folder and discussion still show as though there are unread messages.

We are working to correct this bug.

We are aware that there is no way to change one's account information.

We are working on that area.

One's first and last name may be appearing in the profile.

Users who wish to maintain privacy should go to "My Profile" and check mark the box where it says, "Hide Profile" beside the "Privacy Setting:" heading.

Email notifications are currently set to identify the forum as Faith Community Network.

If a user sets to auto-subscribe to messages they post in it does not automatically subscribe them.

Uses must manually subscribe to a thread.

Moving forward the system will not pull the information into profile.

Unfortunately, existing users must go into profile and either remove the name or change their settings to hide profile.



Fritzpw_Admin -> Mac Wide Screen Issue on IE (4/13/2005 4:13:53 PM)

Several Mac users with the IE browser are complaining that the right tower ad is causing the page to shift down so that the forum doesn't appear beside the ad but below it instead.

This issue will be worked on.

I'm unable to edit the ranking system in the Admin.

It doesn't seem as though it is properly ranking the users.

This is just an update on this bug.

We have discovered that if a thread has more than 1 page it will continue to show that it has read messages until you have again viewed the first page.

After reading the new messages one can go to the first page and it will then be marked as read.

This is a bug and we are continuing to track down the fix.

Our bug list is shorter than expected.

We are predicting that the major bugs to the system will be corrected by April 22.

The ability to send email through the Forums system is currently disabled while we work out other bugs in the email system.

This bug is now corrected. Users are now able to change their username by clicking on "My Profile" and then on the (Change login) link to the right of "My Profile
Login".

When a user has their profile set to receive email notifications for new posts in subscribed threads and also has it set to automatically subscribe to threads they post in the system unchecks the email notification box when a post is made in a subscribed thread.

When a post is made in a subscribed thread and the user has the profile set to
- automatically subscribe to threads posted in
- email notification for new posts in subscribed threads

the system unchecks the receive email box.

This is a known bug and a solution will be looked into.

The Event Calendar is currently returning an error when someone tries to add an event.

We are aware of this issue and it has been submitted to our Tech team for repair.
