Relieved. I finally cleaned the bathroom....yay for me  .
That is 1 thing I know I can't stand doing. Especially when other people mess it up. But so it goes in life, we get to clean up after other people.

... curious. At some point today my schedule for next month will appear. It's coming delayed due to changes. There are some rumours that our Boeing aircrafts might fly to Paris and Frankfurt instead of Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. I hope it stays just a rumour. I would be somewhat upset if I couldn't do the Frankfurt trips anymore and therefor not see my parents.
... a bit sad our airline lost another crew member. He passed way on Thursday after losing his battle against cancer. I wish his wife and 4 children all the strength.

.... happy that someone else likes thunderstorms. I missed them when I lived in NJ. They were a rarity there.

I live so near a radio station tower, if it fell just so, there's a distinct possibility it would hit my house. Having said that, when there's a thunderstorm, there's lightning. There's something about those lightning strikes in the middle of the night's dead sleep that makes you sit bolt upright in bed and just tingles one through and through. :)

It is so hot here I would welcome a thunderstorm. 107 in the shade today without the heat index. One of the kids we gave a ride home to said we are in a global cooling. Ya right, I don't think so! I am going to hate to see my cooling bill.

...thankful tonight is sooo much slower than last night.
...a wee bit guilty -okay, a lot a bit guilty- of letting myself get a little too comfortable, a little too complacent. I find myself in an especially blessed season and it's proving harder to spend time with God than if my world were in shambles. There's been an awkwardness between God and I these last few weeks -due to my own failings mainly that's added to the inherent difficulty... regardless I've really got to get back to business.
...recognizing that i'm closing myself off from the world. it's been a combination of my hectic schedule and the aforementioned complacency. i see myself building up walls again but i don't know why. it's not like my world is falling apart but still there's this need to hide.
i think i may have figured it out:
hmm i smell a bit of hypocrisy reebs...you're hiding because you're failing and continuing to ignore it will only lead you to self-destruction. you don't feel quite right because you aren't quite right before God and so you are unable to truly be all that you are. you've got some filth on that robe of yours so it's no surprise you don't feel like prancing along like you're accustomed to. so you tuck that tail of yours between your legs, crawl on back to jesus, let him wipe it all away, and get back to being the woman you're called to be.
...like i bests go do that. silly woman that i am.

Oh no! Humbleinspirit - I hope that you can call someone to help - maybe see a doctor tomorrow? I feel worried about you.
I feel ok today if a little tired. I'm feeling happy and joyful, which is something I haven't really been feeling much lately. I feel incredibly blessed.

I feel thankful that I didn't get a full-time job that I had really been wanting. I almost got it, but was turned down at the last minute. Well, half of the department was let go today ... had I gotten the job, I would have been fired too. So for now, I still have a job - I'm underemployed for sure, but not unemployed - and I'm thankful for what I have.
