...ahhh all of a sudden panicked. shoot shoot shoot...apparently my random elective i had left to graduate class got scheduled for the end of june and not july..and that means..i've missed the class..and ah i want to cry because i don't know if i'll have all of my requirements to graduate now and ahhh i'm freaking out.

i know. i'm really upset right now. i wont' deny i'm crying..
but at the same time i'm trying to be logical.
i think i may have enough credits earned that i can downgrade my secondary major to just a minor and be fine.
if i still need an additional 3 hours to graduate then if i can have the second half of the summer count as a second internship in my secondary major then all will be well.
and if that doesn't fly since i'm taking the first half of the summer internship for journalism then i think i can convince my media arts department chair to let me take the second half of my internship as credit in that department.
i can't believe i mixed up june and july..i never do this.
and if this all doesn't work...well there goes my future.
ahhhh...rebeckah how could you do this!!!!!

yes, i just am so embarrassed...i never drop the ball like this.
even if this all pans out i think i'm going to get an F in the class i was supposed to take...i've never gotten an F before..i'm scared that will ruin my gpa. erg...I can't believe I did this.

...like giving Reba a suggestion... How about you talk to the dean of students and/or the prof of that class you missed and simply explain your mishap of mixing up June with July?? They may have mercy on you if your previous attendance and GPA record is good. Try it. It can't hurt to try. Right??

This needs to be restated. I'm in a Bible study class now "Me, Myself, & Lies" written by Jennifer Rotschild which is trying to undo all those things we tell ourselves. Don't get into bad habits now.

... honored to be amongst wise people like Matthew-59 and humbleinspirit. They give really good advice. 
... glad that a friend asked me to join her this summer to do this Bible study. It's really hard, though, when you've told yourself unkind things for a long time. Hence, my advice to not start bad habits. Eh... who needs bad habits, anyway?
... amongst friends -- one of the bored and lonely crowd.
... happy that we have psalmist(s) amongst us who will lift up a song whenever s/he has one! Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, always encouraging one another in the Lord. That's what community is all about, isn't it?
... grateful for accountability partners who won't let me wallow in my stuff, or who see that I have hurt someone when I didn't intend to - and who show me how to make things better.

I feel very sleepy. Glad for a good friend who got together with me for dinner and then Christian comedy tonight. What started out as a lonely day turned out to be lots of fun. Laughter is really good for the soul.

Thanks Matthew. I'm feeling fine now...not as grumpy anymore. Being off work and not being able to go or do anything is frustrating. I really wanted to drive to the Black Hills and watch the fireworks at Mt Rushmore but my daughter isn't up for it. I missed it a few years ago when we were there.

Should have known this since it's a long weekend here in Canada. Since I shouldn't be anywhere where there's a lot of people, I'll likely be stuck at home all weekend... And I can't even have people over....ugh
