Some people love Facebook; some don't. I only play games and used it to communicate with people that I hike with. My friends are not into Facebook so I had just a few of them there. tired.. but feeling good for the moment..
regarding fb.. i think i will request account deletion.. i see it as just a distraction.. if people want to keep in touch they can send me emails or call me.. i don't need to know when they're going to the grocery store or other stupid stuff.

That's another reason I got out of it. People were emailing me there instead of my legit email account, and I found it more of a hassle because it's another thing to check. I have numerous email accounts already.

like I need to defend FB - as my family is split up ALL over the country - and truly, I'm just now (after many years of searching) able to find and reconnect with them. It's been a great thing for me. Thankfully I use it basically for that purpose - and try NOT to message people there (because I don't have access to it from work). It's just a tool - not your life.

AH..this was my problem also...the reason I deleted my old account..distraction. But my friend just moved to Arizona, and he said he will be setting up an account, so I figured it would be ok. Just can't spend too much time on there, which may be easier said than done...time will tell.

My extended family is split between New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico, the only way I can stay in touch most times is through FB. otherwise I would forget with everything I have going on.

You very well may have a sign on your head. I have noticed the same thing about myself. I seem to attract a lot of people looking to vent, or to seek help. Could be overbearing at times, but it is a good thing.
They obviously see you as someone they can talk to, which is good, and/or they see you as having something that they don't.
So you must be doing something right..keep on.

Thanks, Pruned. The thing is I'm just starting to feel better and was finally able to rejoin civilization today . I actually took my kid and her friends out to an amusement park all day. For the last 10 days, I avoided being around people because I didn't want to spread the virus if I had it so I was stuck at home and was very grumpy all the time. I couldn't' drive far either because I was dizzy all the time...(dizzy as in sick dizzy,not my usual dizziness, lol). I shouldn't have made the call to my doctor today and just waited until they called. Not knowing means I don't have to go back to work yet, but now that I know, I think it's probably right to go back, though I do have any authorized time off work for being sick for two weeks.

Feeling relaxed and content. Had a pretty productive day and tonite attended the second night of Beth Moore's
study on the book Esther. Good stuff.
