Yeah! Quite a few times. Whenever I re-read Romy's Walk by Peggy Stoks tears flow freely down my face. I've cried through a couple of movies as well, but only when I'm watching them at home.

Most definitely...Charles Martin is an author that makes me cry every time I read his books. There are many others...The last book I read Zora & Nicky also made me cry along with a whole lot of other emotions.

I cry a LOT while reading ... from sappy romances to stories that rattle you from the inside out. I'm highly emotional anyway, so why should I be any different while reading?

I've cried through a lot of Karen Kingsbury's series of books, especially when I am going through something similar as one of the characters in the book. Oh and I can't forget the bible. Many verses in there stir up my emotions.

Oh, I forgot... I usually cry over at least one or two parts of every James Herriott book I've ever read.

No - I have never cried reading a book. Or watching a movie. The only time I have cried at all in the last half century was briefly at my step-dad's funeral last January.

YES! I've cried many times reading a book. Some books are just written in a way that jerks your tears. Two that I can think of off the bat that made me cry are Hearts of Fire by Voice of the Martyrs and Hello After Goodbye by Legacy Five.

The most recent book I can remember crying during was Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. I knew what was going to happen pretty early on in the book, but I still couldn't stop crying at the end. This was such a great book...I especially loved the fact that it was an unexpected book coming from this author who usually does wonderfully suspenseful murder mysteries.

The first time through, I cried at the end of The Last Battle (because the ending was so perfect), Pride and Prejudice (because I didn't want the book to be over), and The Return of the King (because I didn't read the appendices on the first time 'round, being only 13 and not knowing it was a good idea, and it broke my heart that Sam and Frodo were separated). I've cried more than once while reading The Hiding Place.

I love books that make me cry because it means the author has accomplished genuine emotion. "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks always, always makes me cry. So does "Inkdeath" by Cornelia Funke. "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. And I believe I also cried while reading "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens. And I know that I'll cry when I read "Little Dorrit" as I'm planning to start this month.
