I am so in agreement. This has weighed heavy on my heart for some time now. Have we lost our way in America? We have strayed so far from our Christian foundations. But before we can have revival in America we as Christians need to fervently pray.
If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Father,
Thank you that we can rest in you and have a place of refuge in you.
Thank you that it still is possible for most of us to find a private, safe place to spend time with you.
Help so that this whole nation will become a safe refuge where we all can walk with you without being attacked or criticized for being politically incorrect. Help so that the ungodly will not have power to wield. Give us revival.

It has been said that "Literally, through the power of prayer we are marching into territory held by satanic forces and capturing it for the kingdom of God."
Father,
I am imploring You to send a fiery, spirit-filled revival to America. Let it begin with me.
Forgive me for my sins, Lord, and please turn Your ear towards my pleas.
I believe that like other nations of our day, we will respond to the call for revival when the things we put first that are not of Your will are taken away and You become first in our lives.
I am asking You to remove all of the things standing between America (me/us) and revival.
Put us on our knees, Father. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit.
Make us want to seek Your will constantly through prayer and fasting.
Draw us to You in such a way that all of the Christians' focus will become turning back to obey Your precepts and to follow Your will.
Draw the unsaved in such a way that they will be on their knees asking for forgiveness and accepting Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
Father, I tremble as I pray this, but bring America to her knees.
Grant us a great outpouring and filling by the Holy Spirit so that all eyes and hearts are on You.
Lord, make us hungry for Your Word.
Help us to be true prayer warriors.
Send such an amazing spirit-filled revival that You will have all of the Honor and Glory that is due You.
Father, let everything we do be pleasing to You first, no matter what others think.
Help us stay true to You as we deal with adversity in the days to come and protect us from the evil one.

The Church is not equipped to deal with the problems you outlined ---revival or not. Revival needs to start inside the walls of the church today with a change of heart. That would involve giving up a lifestyle of self-absorption and dedicating itself to the "Great Commisssion".
Preachers are mostly to blame for this for they are preaching the wrong message and therefore keeping the congregation spiritually impotent---making them useless and unfruitful.
Jesus said, "Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life." (Matthew 20:28)
One day God will compare how much time and energy we spent on ourselves compared with what we invested in serving others.
Remember, each of us will stand personally before the judgement seat of God....Yes, each of us will have to give a personal account to God. (Romans 14:10)
God will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves. (Promans 2:8)

Lord,
I thank you for this country, I love this country dearly and still Lord, feel such a tug on my heart every time I hear the national anthem and think of those who came before me. Oh God help us, we have become a wicked nation. Our nation has turned its back on you, we have murdered the innocent, allowed injustice to rule, allowed those who would to remove you from our public places, and even gone so far as to restrain the free speech of those who are believers. God have mercy on us for the sake of those who still serve you and love you and send us a great revival like none before. Help your children to stand for you to keep fighting for the faith, give them courage no matter the cost. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
