Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for this nation, I thank you for the freedom we still have here. Lord, I mourn for the direction this nation is heading and the things that we have held dear that are being trampled underfoot. Those who came before us paid such a price for our liberty, help it not to have been in vain. Father, send us a revival like no other, get hold of your people, help us to turn from evil, take a stand. Bring healing to our land.In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Thank you for that prayer, Prayn4u. Several years ago in the town where I work (I commute every day), anyone who wanted to could gather on the National Day of Prayer in front of city hall. It's usually where the homeless sleep, but it was transformed into such a place of praise and prayer and humility that day, and the man who prayed over the loud speaker, I wish I could remember that prayer, it was one of the most beautiful prayers I've ever heard. They sadly decided after that year to move the thing indoors at one of the churches, it was sad because it was christians coming outside the doors of the church where they could be seen and heard worshipping -everyone who passed by stopped to see what was happening, it was such a good thing. This town needed that, this country needs that. Lord, I agree with the prayer above. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Father, I have heard some fellow sisters in Christ in our city asking the churches to bring their choirs outside of the church doors to practice. I know of one elderly woman who would reguarly stand on a couple of the same street corners and sang just a few familiar hymns hoping it would speak to some lost soul. Sure enough, the teenagers who were doing other things on those street corners started asking questions and speaking to her kindly with respect. Hopefully, she planted the seeds that You will harvest. Lord, please raise up individuals, churches to do something of Your Will no matter how seemingly small, for we know how You can use those who feel small...

Yes Lord, I agree with above. Thank you for using simple everyday people and small things that may seem insignificant to the rest of the world to accomplish great things. Father, help us to come outside the doors of the church and share our faith with others in a loving gentle way so they will be drawn to you. Thank you Lord for those who do that. Thank you Lord for the respect that was shown to this lady. Bless her for her efforts to go out in your name. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
PS: Prayn4u - this reminds me of a young man my daughter said used to come to the college she attended and stand on the corner with a guitar and sing Shout to the Lord. She said he didn't have the best voice but there was something about him that she couldn't forget. There is no telling who he impacted by simply standing and singing.

Father, you call us to be in prayer for a revival. Help us to keep the fire going, it truly does only take a spark. Revive Your people and set us on fire with Your Holy Spirit. I hear You calling. You seek those who are lost and lonely. You seek those who no longer listen to Your voice. May we repent of our sins and cause this nation to turn back to You. Father, this is a burden I share with the others. I pray that You will bring an awareness to the hearts in America. We need You so desperately. I see a falling away of christian leaders. Turn our hearts and minds to You. Create in us a pure and clean heart. Worldly religions with their false doctrines are springing up everywhere. May we bow down before You asking to forgive us for doing what the world wants and not what You want. Churches are closing their doors because few care to enter in. We've lost our nation to the cares of this world. Revive us again, Father, and give us strength to boldly confess that Your Son, Jesus came to this world to save us from ourselves. Oh, how Your spirit must grieve each day! Rise up Your children to reach out to the lost and dying world. Bless this nation with Your people willing to stand up for You. Turn all hearts and minds to You and show us our need for salvation through Your Son. I ask this humbly in the name of Jesus. Amen

Father, this is a thread I have such a hard time praying in, I feel words are at a loss but yet groans increase ~ and pray the Holy Spirit to intervene . The country seems so big and seems so lost. But, I know nothing is too big or too lost for You. I am thankful for the individual efforts that speaks volumes of Your Love. I pray for government officials to have a heart for You and that they listen to Your direction. I know not Your Plans for this country, please forgive our sins and have mercy upon us. I pray that more people will hear the Good News and join in ranks of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Every day Lord, this country takes another step further from you. It's hard for us as christians to see it erode like what is happening, but we know that things will deteriorate before you come again and this could just be bringing you a step closer. Lord we think of those that don't know you with time fleeing and so we ask for a revival throughout this nation, not just this nation but all across the world so that they might have one more chance before it's too late. I ask also for encouragement for those of us who are trying to stand for you in spite of what is going on around us. Help us not to get discouraged, but to keep going, keep taking a stand, keep praying, keep waiting on you. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

My heart is burdened for I see how this nation has fallen away from the beliefs of those who settled before us. Father, I don't understand how we could have turned our backs on You in the ways we have. I thank You for not turning Your back on us. I ask that You command Your Light to shine out of this darkness and into the hearts of all Your believers. Revive our souls and spirits to do Your will. Help us to be that candle that lights the world. Daily, I pray to see a revival sweep through the United States and let it bring us to our knees in repentance and humble adoration for the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. Give courage to the faint of heart. Give strength to the weary. Give wisdom and knowledge so we bravely go out into the world and speak of Your Son. People are dying from lack of knowledge. Satan has mixed lies with Your truth and people believe them. The wicked walk on every side of our nation. I pray that You revive this country so we may turn from our wicked ways. I humblly ask this, believing that You hear our prayers for this country and will revive our spirits to be in once accord with Your will, Your ways. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
