AMEN to Jim's prayer.
Thank God for the South.
Thank God for the midwest. We have many great people here that love the Lord. They are just more reserved than the wonderful southern towns I have been in.
That is why I love the South. Always a country girl who loves God, I should have been born in TN!!!

Lord, seriously, we need your devoted followers and the regions to grow and grow and grow.
We have lost so much ground in 50 years since I was born. We are very much going backward.
Father, help.
Stop the slide.
Stop the fast slide down the slippery slope to sin our country is careening into.
Father, help. We need You to do something, because we simply don't know how to do it ourselves.
We need You to move, to be real, Lord. The eloquent ACLU, the eloquent liberals, the eloquent lawyers, the eloquent gay movement, the eloquent sinnnnnnnnnning just keeps marching on.
Father, just loving is not stopping them. We REALLY don't seem to know what in the world to do to stop the landslide victory satan has been having.
Yes, I know 'we win' in the end, but we need help for our country, or we will be just another has been God's country, and El Salvador and Africa and South Korea will be God's countries. H E L P, Lord.
Guatemala will be God's country. Rwanda will be God's country.
Father, the USA is choking on their own arrogance and self-sufficiency. Their kick-butt I-made-myself-everything-I-am-today mentality. HELP LORD.
We made ourselves nothing. You gave us everything we are. Every God-given talent. Every opportunity.
Bring the USA fully back to YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, dear God.

Lord, as we approach the fourth of July, it hurts my heart to see how far even my little town has regressed and turned from you. We used to have a prayer that everyone could hear at our town's celebration, now there is only a moment of silence, we used to have fireworks on the lake, now they have moved them away from town so that the people there can have less limits on what they do. Father, please turn this nation around from the small towns to the large ones, turn it back to you. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father in Heaven, I join the others in continued prayer for this nation. I get discouraged when I hear people say, what's the use in praying about it, it is just meant to get worse. I dont want to believe that praying for a revival is useless. You have put a burden on my heart for ten weeks now concerning revival. Help me to not get weary in doing so. Your Word is still true. You can still turn hearts to You. You can still heal this land. May all christians see the importance of revival, and may it begin with each one of us. I praise You for Your mercy You already show this country and ask that You continue to do so. Forgive us for failing You when we doubt that revival is even worth praying about. In the sweet name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV
