i was at PBU and went into there used bookstore and i got the Theology of the NT a 1902 edition :) for $3 yah i call that a steal considering on amazon its like 70 ish and above :) i done did good

I just bought "The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology". It has been on my wish list for a number or years now and I finally decided it was time just to go ahead and get it.
Last week I bought "The myth of a Christian Nation" by Boyd. I absolutely hate the book because Boyd plays so fast and loose with historical fact, but I have been drudging my way through this book because it has been quite popular in the college group at church, and I wanted to understand what they were reading.
I seldom go to the bookstore and come back with only what was on my list when I entered the store. I almost always find a few extra titles to add to the list while I am there. Between work and home, I typically spend a couple of hundred dollars or more a month on books, and limiting my self to only that takes a great deal of restraint. To be fair though, my industry requires a great deal of reading to keep up to date, and the "average" can be about $60 and many are well over $100.
