LetGo2God -> What was the last CD you bought? (11/13/2008 3:55:22 PM)

What was the last CD you bought? I just bought a "Good Monsters" CD by Jars Of Clay, and I really like it.

The very last CD I bought was "Wonder Of The World" - by Rush Of Fools

The one before that was "Hawk Nelson Is My Friend" [:D] - by Hawk Nelson, of course!

Thanks! How old is your nephew? I'm nineteen and went to one of their concerts and was shocked to see most of their fan base were college kids...it was cool though!

Got to visit my favorite used CD store today, so I bought:
AC/DC - Bonus disc for the "Plug Me In" DVD set
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (1994 remaster)
Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert (version with the encore)
Various Artists - Verve//Remixed Christmas

I also found a copy of "Skydog", a fairly recent biography of Duane Allman. Can't wait to read that.

Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert
One of the greatest piano albums I've ever heard. I have to remember to get this soon.

The last cd I bought with my own money was Stanley Jordan's State of Nature. But my part time job pays me in books and cd's, so the last new cd I got was Chris Tomlin's "Hello Love". I hoping that when I go in tonight the new Neal Morse, or the new Tim Bowman will be waiting for me.

My nephew is 17 years old, and he actually plays in a Christian Band of his own.He is really talented, being able to play drums, guitar, and piano.I hope he sticks with it, because he really is gifted. He did a piano solo of a Delirious song at Church, and I was blown away.I think God can really use him.I think Hawk Nelson is his favorite band.

That is really awesome, he sounds like he could be my friends twin...he is super talented too!
We need more musicians who are willing to let God use them, I will be praying that he sticks with it! Hawk Nelson is a great band to be your favorite!

I just got Hillsong United's new CD I [sm=heart.gif](With Hearts As One) which has different songs from all the different Hillsong's throughout the world, it is too cool!

LetGo2God -> RE: What was the last CD you bought? (11/17/2008 3:59:31 PM)

Thanks for praying for him.I know he would appreciate it.That piano solo he did at Church of the Delirious song "Majesty" was incredible.God be praised for using frail instruments like us to minister his Grace to others!!It is both humbling and awesome at the same time!!

Oh, you're welcome! It is awesome how God uses us, not because He has to, but because He WANTS to! I sing and one day, I want to have a ministry that not only produces, but teaches how to create human videos. It's a dream that is in my heart and I pray one day will be a reality!

LetGo2God -> RE: What was the last CD you bought? (11/18/2008 8:29:00 AM)

How'd you like this one compared to their first? I thought it was not quite as good as Business Up Front - Party in the Back of which I just picked up the Diamond edition of that one today. It just didn't get me in the groove like BUFPITB did.

Bride - Skin for Skin (it has a very early Metal Church feel to this one)
Actually, it's way better than Metal Church's latest "This Present Wasteland". The vocalist for MC lost his sound and the guy from Bride seems to have found it.

Take It Back - Can't Fight Robots
Disciple - Southern Hospitality (Very Hospitable for the ears)
