I ended up sending a thank you letter to the job that I interviewed at last Friday also saying I was not right for the job, but to keep my application on file if anything else comes up. It is another weekend and I am feeling lazy, not motivated to do much of anything at the moment. I know I should head out eventually today, it would be good for me. I have been playing around on myspace.com adding contacts and setting up information and so forth. It is nice to be there. It is amazing how this world of information keeps on evolving! I also have sound with my computer again and that has been very enjoyable as well!

Since I got sound back on my computer I have been listening to radio stations again on the web. I have restarted listening to Spirit 105-3 and getting abreast of current CCM music again. I have been enjoying the station and some songs stand out. I cannot think of a lot of those tunes at the moment, but I will try to compose a partial list when I am more aware.

I've been fighting an ear infection/earrache since Tuesday night. I thought I would wait a day and see if it would go away because I knew that the medicine for the ears is quite expensive. By Thursday it got worse, I tried setting up an appointment then but they were full. I ended up setting it up for the next day instead. When I saw the doctor he gave me a perscription that ended up costing $140 dollars! The worse part of it is that I do not know if it is really working or not. My right ear was really bothering me yesterday but since the medicine it feels better, however now my left ear is really bothering me now and seems to have the same thing that the right one had before! This is all making it hard for me to sleep! I cannot wait until this goes away, as it has really been a nuisance for the past half week!

Over this past weekend my acid reflux was acting up. It made it hard to sleep on Sunday. While not in terrible pain, it was bad enough where I didn't hardly sleep at all quite litererally last night. I still went to work on next to no sleep. After being there a couple of hours I could have either much toughed it out or go home. I decided going home was the best route. The boss was not happy but I do not understand why the boss has to be so upset all the time? He told me to punch out and go home! I got home but only slept 3 hours waking up every hour instead. I am mostly awake now and cannot understand how I am functioning with so little sleep! I hope that I can sleep well tonight ok. I also have been having a slight headache as well. I took some Advil but admittedly think that is what probably caused the acid reflux to start with as my ears were infected again last week. Well that is what is presently going on. I am hoping for a new job and better health sometime soon!

Who Am I? Ever ask that question about yourself? Who are you really and what are you accomplishing in this world? Ever ask “am I really in God’s Will” or just coasting with lip service but with no real fruit to bear? I ask myself questions like this a lot because truth be told, I work Monday through Friday can’t wait to get out of work while trying to do the best job, but then do nothing all that productive on the weekends. When I was only 15, there was a word of knowledge said over me from 2 different rerelaed sources saying that I was being called to “The Ministry.” As with any words of knowledge there are conditions to be followed and you put these words on the shelf until the appointed time. I think of David when he was first Anointed: 1 Samuel 16:6-13 So, here I wait with much anticipation to do what God has called me to do, but seem to just be coasting along life waiting for one day for things to change, some big moment to come out of the blue, etc. However, it is much more likely that it will be a gradual thing instead. I know that God put this desire in my heart, but it is just a matter of stepping out.

My acid-reflux is still bothering me. It stinks still not feeling well. Today I am feeling just a little bit better, but overall things have been about the same. This is what I get for drinking Pepsi in excess and believing that I can eat anything I want when I want without consequence. Sigh, I will likely see the doctor again this week and see what he recommends.

Lately I have been thinking about my life and well, I cannot help but think "loser" is how to describe my life. There are many things other people my age have accomplished, but I haven't. I do not ever feel that I will be a leader, and wonder if I will ever get out of the muck that I am in. Oh well, not much else to say, it is just how I am feeling at the moment.

Nothing much to report right now. My acid-reflux has been getting better, but I still have to be careful though.

Still not a whole lot to report. There are some changes that are happening at my work within the next couple of weeks. While everything should be ok, I am a bit stressed about the changes, having a new boss, etc. I have been listening to a lot of Christian music online lately. I've noticed a change that the songs seem more worshipful. While on the whole it the style of music is not my favorite (most of it being rock) it is nice to hear Jesus proclaimed! I also want to go take a trip somewhere soon. Hopefully I can afford to.

I've been pondering whether to end my blog here or not? Its been kinda hard to post here every 10 days... Well it doesn't look like anything is happening with work yet. It is still on a wait and see mode. Today was a busy but good day, I am happy that it wasn't all that burdening.

I had an interesting thing happen yesterday. The circus is in town and what should stumble upon during my lunch hour, about a 1/2 elephants! I went into downtown today and did a little bit of shopping. I ended up buying shoes that were a little bigger than my feet because they were more comfortable. Boston continues to bustle on the weekends and I still have to avoid people. I went to eat at Wendy's in downtown too. I do not know if they have this in other cities but this Wendy's is set up where you wait in a barrier like line (similar to a bank) and someone takes your order in line. After that, they give you the slip and when you make it up to the cashier, you give them the slip where you pay, then go to another window to go get your order. I am surprised that they still do it that way. The place brings back old memories as well. I upset my acid-reflux by again by going there though. I went for a walk earlier which helped. Welcome Back Kotter is on TV right now. I think I am gonna go watch that.

Well I made it through another week. I got to admit, there are things in my job that I really do not like. I especially do not like being interupted, and I do not like it when a customer has a copying request that involves anything complicated. For example a customer came in with a book and wanted 3 pages copied double sided on 3 hole paper in which he provided. Now this request might sound fairly straight forward from the get-go, however, what this involves is figuring out which way to put the paper holes in the machine, and also remember that the machine is going to flip the paper differently if it is double sided as well. Anyway, I figured it out and it work worked out ok. While that was a more complicated request, it is not unusual on the kinds of things that I have to do. I have decided that I have 2 favorite songs right now, one Christian and one Secular. The Christian one is the song previously mentioned in my blog by Casting Crowns. My favorite secular song has returned to be Breath (2 AM) by Ana Nalick, but I still like Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield as well.

I had a great weekend! I went to Chicago. It started out with me waking up before 4AM and then taking a cab to the airport by 4:30. There wasn’t a big line and I ended up having 2 hours before my flight. When we finally had the boarding call for the plane, they announced that they were ready for boarding, all 15 of us! The flight was good but long and I got to enjoy listening to XM Satellite radio on the plane. When we touched down in Chicago, I made a long journey through the airport to the baggage claim. There was one women sitting down and I wondered if it was Rachel or not? I didn’t look just in case I was in the wrong area and didn’t want to embarrass myself. It was Rachel and we happily greeted one another! I was the sole person that had baggage and just then my single bag came out. One of the first things we did was get breakfast. We decided to go to Starbucks and we sat down and chatted. After that we walked for a while and stopped outside of the Wrigley Building and took a few photos. We then walked to the Art Institute of Chicago and saw the exhibits there for a while. We took a few photos but later learned that flash photography ruins the art there. After that, we went looking for discount coupons for museums and then walked back to the car. On our way to the Museum of Science and Industry, a guy and a kid bolted right out in front of us! They were almost hit, but Praise God they weren’t. God’s angels were surely watching over us! Once we got to the museum, we were hungry and got something to eat. After that we explored the Museum of Science and Industry, and we learned among other things how the manufacturing of toys were made. We also saw this exhibit on the development of a baby in the womb, which was very interesting, and thought provoking as well! Later as I was taking pictures, my cameras batteries died. They in fact started to leak on me! I was kinda bummed about that but Rach said that she would continue to take pictures from her camera and share them with me. We were finally tired out and left the museum to go find my hotel. After I checked in, we just relaxed for a bit, and read some Bible scriptures, which was good because I was feeling rather down and not at peace. I then felt a little better and we went to Burger King to eat. After that went to where she was staying and we called it a night. I was feeling much more at ease and on Sunday it was time to go meet Sharon (Awed) and Jeff! Rach and I drove for over an hour where we met them half way and we had lunch. We decided to eat at Culvers, which I never had eaten at before. It was very nice getting to meet Sharon and her husband and we all had fun! Then it was time to go home, Rach dropped me off at the airport and I had a 3 hour wait until my flight and Rach had a long ways to drive as well. I made it through security seamlessly but had initial trouble trying to figure out where my gate was. I finally figured that out. The wait seemed to be really long and the terminal where my flight was in was like a makeshift sub terminal within the airport. The walk was at least 5 minutes inside this “sub” terminal. While I was waiting for my flight I listened to some of the radio stations in the city. Chicago is a great radio city and I wish that I had more time to listen! Finally my flight was boarding, it was much fuller than the last time. The crew announced the flight and said welcome to your flight to Fort Lauderdale! I got a sick feeling in my stomach until they said just kidding, welcome to your flight back to Boston! They went through the usually pre-flight thing and we were back on our way. The pilot announced that we would be flying over South Bend, Detroit, Jamestown, Albany, Gardener and finally Boston. The flight was relatively uneventful and we landed safely in Boston. I made my connections from the airport via public transportation and made it back to my apartment rather seamlessly. It was very nice getting to finally meet Rachel, she is awesome! It was great getting to finally meet Sharon and Jeff as well! We all had a great time!
