Nope, no fun at all. Luckily there were plenty of good movies on tv. I watched the Love's Saga on Hallmark.

Happy Sunday to ya Mike. Hope your tooth is better today. I've been there and its sure no fun to have a tooth hurt---just seem to hurt all over.
God bless you with a pain free day.

I know I mentioned it a while back on one thread or another, but as an update I'll say that Deb and I now rinse twice a day with benzol peroxide, and our teeth and gums look and feel better. I was first using a 50/50 mix of water and benzol peroxide, then switched just the peroxide, just 2 cap fulls.

So, Mike, and anybody else who thinks it might help, why not give it a try. Not only does it seem effective, it's also pretty inexpensive.

Hi John, I'd be afraid to put that stuff in my mouth less I swallow!

Hi Judy & Sara, still dealing with the tooth, but if I am less stubborn then I will surely get it dealt with this week. Hopefully sooner than later!

I think person would have to swallow quite a bit for benzol peroxide for it to do him much harm. I don't think the directions on the bottle would suggest using it as mouth rinse (diluted with 50% water) if accidentally swallowing a little of it would be a problem.

In any case, our gums are healthier, and teeth our whiter, and the tooth or gum ache I had a couple of weeks ago went away and hasn't come back.

I also like the fact that it has no alcohol. Most mouthwash cotains alcohol, which for some of us isn't a good thing to accientally swallow either. (I think I read or heard somewhere that alcohol can actually enter the bloodstream though the lining of our tongue and mouth.)

In any case, for whatever or any treatment you teeth get, I hope they get to feeling much much better.

Speaking of teeth, how out getting togther this Friday to use our teeth to eat some lunch together?

I think both Deb and my chairs are all set to venture about just about wherever we'd like to get to. The weather is supposed to be good Friday so if you're available we'd love to treat you to the much delayed birthday lunch.

Yes, Mike, it was great seeing you again in Boston.

Next time we'll get to enjoy more time together because we'll be able to meet at a restaurant closer to where you work.

Boston is an interesting place, even when getting around in a wheelchair if we figure out which streets have accessible sidewalks.

Hi Mike! Just read parts of your wonderful blog for the first time. The last entry sounds like some days I have, nothing going right. Those are the kind of days that should have been spent staying home in bed, KWIM?

Hi John, Deb, Terri, Sara, Judy and Melissa!

John and Deb, I had a good time meeting with the both of you also!

Melissa, yeah it wasn't the best, however that was really only within a time frame of 30 minutes though. The rest of the day went ok.

Let's see, if only I could switch to a new avatar then I could post this correction to the quoted post and maybe some people wouldn't notice that it was the same person.

I can hardly believe that I was typing benzol peroxide instead of hydrogen peroxide

Well, I guess I could believe it because after all it was me who typed it and it wasn't the first or last goof up of mine.

In any case...hydrogen peroxide is good for a mouth rinse. Good for hurting gums at least in my case.

As for benzol peroxide....I guess that is best to keep outside the mouth at all times.
