Gremlins - it was set during Christmas, right?

I also enjoyed Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, and Jingle All The Way.

Add White Christmas to my list. It's hilarious!

I haven't been able to find A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation on TV yet this year, so I took matters into my own hands. If you're interested, you can buy both and Elf in a special 3-DVD set at Target for $32.99.

How's this for an untraditional, non-sectarian Christmas movie, sort of ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JTroFovUXw

But more in tune with the topic, here's my list of sorts--that at least takes place during/around Christmas:

The Negotiator
Ronin
The Long Kiss Goodnight

This (and Eraser) are my two favorite action movies. I had forgotten about the Christmas aspect.

Die Hard was a great Christmas movie. It filled me with holiday cheer. In fact, it is great to watch anytime of year.

My all-time favorite Christmas holiday movie would have to be Jack Frost. Not the dumb one with Michael Keaton, but the one with the killer snowman. It's so stupid that I laugh my head off every time I see it. And the best part of the whole movie was the circumstances that led to them figuring out how to stop the killer snowman. Priceless!

Scrooge, a Christmas Carol
http://www.amazon.com/Scrooge-Alistair-Sim/dp/6303019617

I have seen most of the film versions, but this is by far my favorite!
The ending is priceless!

I can relate to Scrooge at the end of the film, because that was my reaction when I finally gave up my stubborn resistance, and accepted Christ as my savior. An unstoppable feeling of joy and peace.
God bless us, everyone.
