Hello,
I am going to try to make this as simple and to the point as possible. I have just seen a door close for me, so I am looking for a new one to open. I know God does not close one door without opening another one. With the help of the Holy Spirit I have officially moved from America to the U.K permanentely. This means several things. I can not finish my MBA in America seeing how I will not be there. Unfortunately my school does not offer online courses, otherwise I would finish this. This being said I feel I have a second chance to make things go right again. If you read my other thread on here, you will understand what I am talking about.
Anyway, I feel led to just do some heavy research on ONLINE MASTERS PROGRAMS IN DIVINITY, THEOLOGY, OR CHRISTIAN COUNSELING. Those are the topics I have narrowed down my search to (Although I dont know what the difference is in Divinity and Theology). I really want to get some good responses because I have been struggling in this area of career/job my whole life is seems. I feel like I am on to something now though. I know we have to follow our hearts desires and I feel like I might just being starting to do so if I go in this area. I am passionate about God, so why not study about Him and His word. I know there is another thread that is similar to mine here and I have read it, but mine specifically asks for THEOLOGY/DIVINITY/CHRISTIAN COUNSELING. I also want something that is not expensive. I dont want to jeapordize the QUALITY of my education, but at the same time I have already accumulated over $50,000 of student debt, so I dont want something very expensive. I think my last course I took was like $800 per unit, way to much for me at this point in the game. Also I want something that is like a year long. Since I am changing directions mid course, I dont have a lot of time to be playing around. A three year program is just too long for me.
If anyone is aware of any DIVINITY PROGRAMS in the U.K. please do share as well, becasue I am open to that idea. Since I just moved here, and dont know anything about the country yet, I just naturally went with the online programs, but am open to actually going to a University.

I'm wondering if your Divinity course would be the same or similar to our Religious Studies course?
It might be of interest to you to look at the Open University website. The OU is the only university in the UK dedicated to distance learning. They offer a degree course in Religious Studies (amongst many other things!)

Thanks Manda, I am checking that site out right now. I also got your PM about the churches which I am also going to check out. For some reaons it wont let me PM you back...so sorry for that. Well I found exactly what I was looking for...today. God is good like that. I know I need to do some more research but this is a good one. Here is the link. I hope it works. What do you guys think of it? Its called The London School of Theology. London is like an hour away from where I live. They also have on campus living which I did for my MBA and totally loved it a lot. Its one year, and the tuition is like between 3000-5000 pounds for the entire program. Not bad really. Most importantly I think its led by the Holy Spirit so that is the most important thing. I love it when God leads us to what we are looking for. Obviously He put it in my heart and then He showed me what was in my heart in real life. I am getting excited here.

I am going to email Fritz right now and see what is up with me not being able to PM anyone. =)
I am so glad you think its a great place. I mean its good to get feedback on schools and see what people have to say about them. I have learned that most people are honest in their opinions and tell the truth, so its a nice way to get a good feel for the school. I was reading how they do morning prayer and worhsip. I would love to live on campus though, that would be awesome. Now I just need to start looking for maybe some scholarships or grants for this.
