Have any of you seen this movie and what did you think? It has been highly recommended and I hope to see it soon.

I should be looking forward to this Danny Boyle effort with a friend of mine--especially coming from my perspective, how original it is for the director to helm this project, after being credited for Trainspotting, The Beach, and 28 Days Later!

I saw it. It's good. I think of all the films out there right now, this one is the most likely to win best picture at the Oscars. It's not the best movie of the year, but it's the sort of film that would win.

I think it's good that there is a movie about Muslims, that are not terrorists and we can see that violence/bad things happen to Muslims too... And the movie seems to be well received in India.. They are excited about it actually.. I think the movie is excellent and haunting. People are saying it's a feel good movie. I'm no so sure. There are some really haunting, horrible scenes in the movie that look all to real. The poverty and how young children are treated is sad and scary... There are some scenes that are not for the fainted heart. BUT, I think that we need to see those scenes, how else will hearts be moved and people will be moved to pray and give? What's nice is the poor are not portrayed to be hopeless.. Or constantly miserable either.. And the movie is not at all preachy. I think this movie is brilliant and deserves to win Best Picture.
