I have always asked what GOD had to do with all of the holidays and always I get the same responses. To me the holidays are about GOD and the family he created. So what do the holidays have to do with GOD? What holidays actually concern GOD in our lives and which ones are lies?

Where did christmas come from? Where is christmas in the bible? and what does a tree have to do with God? What does it have to realy do with the birth of jesus? How does greed define the birth of jesus, the greatest gift to the world? Why is a MAN petrified in a babies body? Why dont the Jews celebrate christmas? What season was jesus really born in? Why dont you really care about these questions? if jesus is the light of the world then the world flipped the off switch. Jesus was a Rebel, Revolutionary, and a Questionist of all things in his day! So then why do we through stones at those truley seeking the truth?

To repeat what I wrote in another thread on this same woeful topic: Excerpt by James S. Hewett from Illustrations Unlimited An old pioneer traveled westward across the great plains until he came to an abrupt halt at the edge of the Grand Canyon. He gawked at the sight before him: a vast chasm one mile down, 18 miles across, and more than 100 miles long! He gasped, "Something musta happened here!" A visitor to our world at Christmastime, seeing the lights, decorations, trees, parades, festivities and religious services, also probably would say, "Something must have happened here!" Indeed, something did happen. God came to our world on the first Christmas! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Good Christian men, rejoice with heart and soul, and voice; Give ye heed to what we say: News! News! Jesus Christ is born today; Ox and ass before Him bow; and He is in the manger now. Christ is born today! Christ is born today! Good Christian men, rejoice, with heart and soul and voice; Now ye hear of endless bliss: Joy! Joy! Jesus Christ was born for this! He has opened the heavenly door, and man is blest forevermore. Christ was born for this! Christ was born for this! Good Christian men, rejoice, with heart and soul and voice; Now ye need not fear the grave: Peace! Peace! Jesus Christ was born to save! Calls you one and calls you all, to gain His everlasting hall. Christ was born to save! Christ was born to save!
