I looked at your links and noticed that you're in Kansas City. I suspect that what your referring to is the ministry training program called MAP (Ministry Apprenticeship Program) that a number of churches in Kansas City (Heartland Community Church, Christ Church, Cambridge Church, Heartland K10, Lakewood and a couple of others) supported until about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the program was discontinued in 2006.
I don't know if it would help but the two resources we used to help people figure out specifically what their gifts are were a book called Now Discover Your Strengths and a personal gifts profile called IDAK.
Have you actually taken the IDAK test? It does a much better job than any other test I've ever seen of identifying people's gifts. The full profile takes 6-8 hours to complete and uses a detailed history of both work, non-work and church experiences, combined with your own self-evaluation to identify your natural talents. It's not limited to spiritual gifts but is based on the idea that we gravitate toward our natural talents throughout our lives even if we don't consciously recognize them. They have a special evaluation for people trying to find their place in ministry. If you haven't been through that specific evaluation I would definitely recommend considering it.
