I have Saturday off with no real plans. Just looking forward to being in the day so to speak. Whatever comes along--or doesn't --is ok.

Do y'all feel you have to have plans for the days off you have? I am pretty laid back and don't get bored easily so I like just taking things as they happen. So many people I know have to be busy doing something all the time. Are y'all like that?

Well, if you have time to set a spell please do...if you have to be doing something there are dishes to be washed and the vacuum is in the hall closet.

I like to enjoy my days off with the illusion that I will do something. Usually I am quite content at just staying home instead.

I love just staying home--it is my favorite place to be.

LOL!

DivaB, to answer your question, since I don't work a typical M-F / 9-5 type job, I think it's different with me. I don't really look to Saturdays as being something different from the rest of the week (Sundays, excluded). About the only thing I try to do on Saturdays is to go to the grocery store early in the morning (around 7am). I'm finding I don't have time to do it during the week (or don't want to take the time to do it). But anything else, it's just whatever comes up . . . unless I knew of something ahead of time and it got put on my calendar.

How are your kitties; especially your girl kitty?

I am looking forward to the time when I can have a bit more control of the hours in my day. Although I am not the best at disciplining myself--when the time comes that I do not work full time I will have to be tough on myself. I am very good at daydreaming!

Thanks for asking about my girl catkid. She is ok today--and I am grateful--we will take what comes tomorrow when it gets here.

BTW did you get my PM about being on your notice list for your blog? I would be pleased to be on it.

I did get it . . . I'm sorry; I thought I had sent you a PM back that I added you.

I've typically not been good about self-discipline. I see changes in that, though, during these past few months; and for that, I am so grateful to Our Lord.

Thanks for adding me to THE list. I look forward to your next installment.

I was much better disciplined when I was younger. I think when my brother was sick then with his death I got sort of lost for awhile. But the Lord Is faithful and never let me go and laughter is back in my life. Oh how I missed the laughter.

Well I could go on a trip I guess. I have been tripping lately. Mostly I have been tripping over my own feet, cracks in the sidewalk, cats, pebbles...Oh you meant a pleasure trip.

Hmmmm where to go?

A place where you do not have to wear high heels.

I never wear high heels anymore. One--the older I get the more for comfort and less for style I am. Two--the older I get the wiser I get (in the shoe area of life). Three--seeing as I have problems in flat shoes I would probably break my neck in high heels.

Today was the first of my 3 days off. I did nothing!

Well I did go for a walk--once the rain took a break. It was quite pleasant. Then I did play on the computer and read. Now I am waiting for my hamburger to cook.

Even tho I did basically nada I think I may go to bed early--I always say that but I am not a go to bed early kinda gal--so I will most likely be up late. Then the morning will be a challenge.

What makes a morning or a night person? Is it something we are born wired with or do we become one or the other from habit or environment?

Hi Diva, I do not know, sometimes there is more things that interests people at night than during the day. Sounds like you had a good day. I did go see the movie, it was ok. I am not sure if I would recommend it or not at all though.

Hello Mike,

Glad you went out to the movie. Know what you mean about to recommend or not. Sometimes what I like and what others like is worlds apart.

Do you think you are a morning or a night person?

I think I am more of a midday person. Usually in my family, I was always the first to hit the hay, and that would be at 2AM or so.

You are from a family of night owls.

I like late night and early morning--but late afternoons are hard-- I need a nap then

Productivity-wise, I'm definitely a morning person.

Sleep-wise, I'm definitely a go-to-bed early person.

Hi Sharon-Marie,

It seems the majority of people-The ones I know--are more productive in the morning and early to bed types. I am most productive between about 8am and 4pm then I sorta lose energy. But I am back up and ready to go from 8-12 pm. It's those late afternoons that are a problem.

Do you like naps? I looove naps. If I am not working I nap--they frown on it at work
