I just started reading Louis L'Amore and really like it. They are fun and quick reads, that do not add stress to your life. Just wondering if anyone else was a fan?

I'm a fan. When I was in my early twenties, I devoured his books over a period of a couple of years. Don't read them much now, but every now and again I'll pick one up and read part of all of it. They would probably make better high-school required reading than half the stuff kids now have to read, as they stress things like individual responsibility, family, liberty and independence, working to build and create, and things like real justice and doing right. Not that they don't have some questionable things, too, especially from a religious pov, but while not downplaying those, they are on the whole good books.

Oh, sure. My parents have an entire collection of Louis L'Amore in leather. I've read most of them.
