I am sick and tired of wearing jeans. I don't like the way they look (on me) and I don't like the way they feel. I don't think I can stand to wear a long skirt all the time either, though. If you have a comfortable, feminine and non-frumpy solution, please share it with me!

Knee-length skirts? Khakis? Yoga pants? Sari? Kilt? Sarong? Culottes? Kimono? Overalls? Skorts? Pareo? Capris? Kanga? Leggings? Gauchos? stirrup pants? Really, you have nothing but choices. The problem is deciding what works for you.

I have played around with different brands of Jeans and finally found some that actually not only look good on me but feel good on me too. But if you really don't want to wear jeans, then don't. Find something that looks decent and feels good. Auben gave many options for you so go shopping and try some things on. See what feels the best for you. But I will say that I wear alot of athletic clothes or dance pants if I don't wear jeans. Those are where I am most comfortable.

I found some really comfy polyester or rayon pants at Fashion Bug once. Hubby picked them out - they have elastic waist, and they're nice and flowy-like. I hate jeans too - they're SO uncomfy! The one pair I have is really baggy - almost too big looking. I struggle with clothes constantly! I do wear capri's a lot, especially for work since I work in a hot kitchen. I prefer bottoms of any kind to fall below the knee.

I have some slacks that have just a little bit of stretch in the material. They are super comfortable. I like wearing jeans, too, but these slacks are really comfy. I got them at JCP, but they also have them at Kohl's. They are flat-front pants by Lee.

I've always had trouble finding comfortable jeans that fit correctly. Just when I'd find a brand I liked they'd change the cut. The best pair of jeans that don't feel as still are ANA or APT 9 jeans found at JCP. They also have normal pairs of slacks. Look for straight pants (not skinny) but straight pants that are widest at the thigh and stay the same width to the bottom. It hides muffin tops and most flaws in the bum, hips, and thighs. Tights with a longer sweater/dress is always fashionable and I find extremely comfy. Again, auben offered some great alternatives. Know you are not alone in this common frustration! haha. be blessed, -reba.
