1 Kings 19:9 9Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” So the word of the Lord came to him “what are you doing here Elijah”. This is one of the most important questions God will ever ask us. His questions probes the reality of our spiritual state. He is asking “how did your service to me become dry and desolate?” He wants us to know that when we fail to esteem Him as our first love, we will always find that a desert awaits us. God never intended for religion. He intended to have a people called by His name to steward, be productive, and carry His presence to those around us and to the nations. Questions to Ask Myself 1. Does sitting in a church service each week hearing a good message and worshipping together give me all of what I need? 2. Am I living my experience of being part of the Church through two hours on Sunday and mabe a home cell group on Wednesday evening ie. is this the only thing that defines my spiritual development in the Kingdom? 3. Am I active in my thoughts and communications with the Father in my everday life? 4. Am I being transformed by His presence? 5. Am I "asking, knocking, and seeking" to discover my destiny in Christ? 6. Am I personally discipling others to equip them for discipling new Christians in the Church body? 7. Do I believe that I can change the world? Luke 16:16 16The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. This realm of God’s Spirit does not come without “pressing” – without contending. The first thing about pressing is seeking. Pressing into it means there is a passionate pursuit of God in prayer. The word “to seek” means to diligently look for and search out earnestly until the object of the search is located. It is as crying out and hungering for the presence of God. Affirmations God is about to bring my life to a new beginning. I press into and lay hold of the kingdom of heaven in an aggressive way. I have a burning heart of fiery witness and passion when it comes to exhorting others in their walk with God. I repent from trying to do God's will without abiding in His presence. Authority of The Believer Luke 10:19 -- "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you." Genesis 1:26 -- "And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over ever creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." When Adam sinned, man lost his dominion--we get it back through Christ. To be victorious and live in the fullness of the destiny God has for our lives, we must begin by recognizing our position and authority in Christ. Psalm 91:1 -- "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." There is a dwelling place or position in the spirit that we hold as believers in Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 -- "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." That is our positin in the spirit. If we do not know our position we cannot function in the body of Christ. Ephesians 1:18-20 -- "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places," In that place we have God given abilities. The Fifth Place Jesus Shed His Blood The fifth place where Jesus shed His blood was where they drove the spikes through His feet, nailing Him to the cross. The blood shed from His feet also redeemed us from our loss of dominion and authority. Ehpesians 6:10 - "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might." The Greek word "Kratos," relates to God's manifested dominion and therefore our outer strength. Kratos speaks of dominion[/b], power, and strength. Acts 19:20 - "So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing." The scripture tells us that in the days of the early church, "the word of the Lord grew mightily (Kratos) and prevailed." When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, he lost spiritual dominion and authority,[/b] and at that moment, satan became the god of this world. But through Jesus' shed blood, we don't have to be trampled by satan. God said to Joshua "every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you.," (Joshua 1:3) There is something about taking ground in the spirit--there is something about taking land. How do we prophesy over others: We speak the Blood of Jesus over their lives. We speak health over their lives. We speak destiny over their lives. We have been commanded to "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." (Mark 16:15) Wherever we go, we're to tell people "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" (Mark 1:15). This would be impossible unless we had the authority to take dominion of satan's earthly kingdom. Dominion over this earth is ours again because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and wherever we are, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. As believers we have the authority to walk around our neighborhood and say, "I bind the devil in my neighborhood. I bind the drug addicts and the dope dealers." We can walk through schools and say, "I bind violence, I bind perversion, and I bind New Age teaching," Because every place where we set our foot will be ours. (Deuteronomy 11:24) When we bind the devil, our next step is to loose the peace of Jesus in our streets--loose the righteousness of Jesus in our cities. Matthew 18:18 -- "Truly I say to you, whever you shall bind on earth shall have ben bound in heaven: and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." Questions to Ask Myself How am I creating an opportunity fo God to act through my faith? What incredible acts of faith am I capable of? Albert Finch www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Rushing In of Eternity Haggai 2:9 - "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts." Hebrews 6:1 - "Therefore let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ, advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity." Nearly 2000 years ago, the author of the book of Hebrews exhorted the Jewish Christians to leave the elementary teachings and principles about Christ, urging them to press forward into maturity. Today as we are discipled into a higher life in Christ we come before the very throne of God with boldness and confidence - stepping into maturity - as we encounter new realms of the Glory of God. Psalm 149:6 - "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand...." We are being commissioned by the Lord to step into new realms of Glory through worship and high praise. As we do this together, we are going to see the Kingdom of Power and Glory made manifest. God's Kingdom is taking dominion upon the earth and is displacing every stronghold of the enemy. Through high praise we destroy the plans of the enemy and bring to earth new realms of Glory not yet revealed. We are stepping into a realm of timelessness where the miracles in His presence are being made known to us. As we continue Heavenward, we are breaking the constraints of the natural realm and shaking off old paradigms. The doors of Heaven are opening wider than we've ever seen before and we are witnessing the unfolding of the scrolls of destiny. Both the seen and unseen worlds are being changed from one degree of Glory to another, and all are being transformed by the ever-increasing Glory of God. Questions to Ask Myself How much time do I spend each day praising God out loud? Do I believe that praising and worshiping God will lead me into new realms of glory? Prayer Father, let me continually see Your goodness pass before me. Jesus wash Your Bride with Your Word - sanctify me so that I will be a resting place for Your holy habitation; You will present to Yourself - the Church in all her Glory. Holy Spirit, teach me how to move and operate in the realm of Glory as this time of acceleration is upon us, that I may arise in faith, in the experiential knowledge of the Son of God, with unparralled demonstrations of the Kingdom of Power and Glory. In Jesus' name, Amen. Affirmations The Lord blankets me with His tangible, manifest presence, and cloud of glory. God is enlightening the eyes of my heart so that I would experientially know the inheritance of glory that lies within the saints. I declare the word of the Lord and see it supernaturally manifest. Walking In My Inheritance Romans 10:9,10 - "Because if you shall confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." When we confess His Lordship, it is not only His dominion over us, but "lord" means Leader, "the bread-provider," the caretaker, the protector from all our enemies. You actually become a partaker of the Divine Nature. (2 Peter 1:4). As you become a partaker of His Nature, you become a partaker of His ability: 1. God's ability becomes your ability 2. God's strength becomes your strength 3. Jesus' ministry becomes your ministry. When we acknowledge Him as our Lord, then God becomes automatically our very Father. All the resources of Heaven are at our disposal (Ephesians 1:3) to: 1. Minister others into Christ. 2. Disciple them 3. Equip them to disciple others Questions to Ask Myself Am I willing to disciple a new believer into his inheritance in Christ? Do I believe that equipping believers to disciple others is the most valuable spiritual instruction I can give? Affirmations I have power to labor for the spiritual lives of others. I minister others into Christ, disciple them, and equip them to disciple others. Since I am God "insided minded" I confess -- greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Fulfilling Our Purposes Getting in touch with our destiny in Christ can have the single most powerful impact on our own life after coming to know the Lord and being born again. All Christians are called to be witnesses, but we also have a calling in His Body that is more specific than that. The main factors that will lead to a revelation of our destiny and being prepared for it are the following: A. Resolving to do the Lord's will as the chief pursuit of our lives. 1. All Christians are called to be "soldiers of the Cross". All soldiers know that they can be called upon to pay the ultimate price for their cause. For this reason, the soldiers of the Cross are called to take up their crosses and commit to die daily to their own interests in order to serve the interests of Christ: "If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his Cross daily, and follow Me." (Luke 9:23). "For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it." (Luke 9:23,24) "You therefore must suffer hardship as a good soldier of Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 2:3) "No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier." (2 Timothy 2:4) "And he died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf." (2 Corinthians 5:15) B. Beholding the glory of the Lord. C. Finding and becoming a committed part of the body of Believers we are called to be with. D. Receiving the ministry of the five equipping ministries listed in Ephesians chapter 4. E. Being discipled by someone other than the pastor. 1. Regular one-on-one meetings 2. Keeps us focused on the prize and off of the many opportunities in the Church and elsewhere that will take us away from what God has called us to do -- our destiny. 3. Receiving weekly assignments, will help us grow in knowledge and understanding that will eventually equip us to disciple others and move to higher spiritual attainments. F. Engaging in our calling. Questions to Ask Myself 1. Am I totally sold out to the Lord Jesus Christ? 2. Am I willing to agressively pursue the services of someone in the Body of Christ to disciple me in my Christian walk? 3. Name 3 reasons why I need someone to disciple me in addition to my participation in church services, sunday school, bible study clases, Christ encounters etc. Albert Finch www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Discipleship (Read Matthew 3:1-11; 4:17-25; Mark 1:8-18 and 1 Corinthians 1:17-24) Matthew 28:18-20 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Nowhere in scripture did Jesus tell us to go and make converts. Jesus told His disciples to teach them to observe all the things He commanded. The words “teaching them to observe all things” literally is the word that is translated “Disciple” throughout the bible. Most versions translates this “go and make disciples”. The Lord commanded us to make disciples not converts. Somewhere along the way, the church has changed the emphasis from making disciples to getting people born-again, leaving discipleship to the mature. John 3:1-3 1Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; 2this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” 3Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God Jesus talked to Nicodemus about the spiritual birth compared to the natural birth, but He never preached to the people about being born-again. By making that the focus, the church is actually lowering its standards leaving people with the misconception that all they need to do is just be born-again and discipleship is optional. That is not what Jesus commanded us to do. When we ask people to receive Jesus as their savior we need to teach them that this is a total commitment of ones life to the Lord. It means becoming a disciple of Jesus. John 2:23-25 23Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing. 24But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men, 25and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man. Jesus did not commit Himself unto them although they believed on Him. The word “commit” and “believe” are actually the same word in the Greek here. So you could say they believed on Him, but He did not believe in them! He knew they were not disciples. John 8:30-32 30As He spoke these things, many came to believe in Him. 31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” More correctly these verses say when you continue in the word, then you will know the truth, and the truth you know sets you free. In these verses Jesus was speaking to those who already believed on Him. Jesus knew that only those who became disciples would truly become free. Compare the following: Case #1: If you evangelize 1000 people per year for 15 years, you would have 15,000 new believers (assuming they were all genuine converts). Case #2: If you led one person to the Lord every 6 months and spent the next 6 months teaching that person so they could reproduce themselves – in 1 year there would be 2 new Christians. However, after 12 years, if each continues to reproduce themselves every 6 months there would be no one left on earth to evangelize! Jesus’ method of discipleship would have produced nearly 6 billion disciples in less than 13 years. Discipleship evangelism works![/b] Albert Finch www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Covenant With God Throughout the history of God's dealings with man, He has revealed Himself as a covenant-making God. The Almighty covenanted with Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David; He renewed His Abrahamic covenant in His call to Isaac and Jacob. Each covenant: a. Was linked to their destiny, b. Initiated a new wave of redemptive power into the world, and c. Forever impacted the human condition. The word covenant means "to fetter" or chain together. Contained within the Lord's covenant with man was His divine intervention, His supernatural wisdom and strategies, and His provisions. Our salvation has been secured, not only because Jesus died for our sins, but because His death was part of a covenant He had with the Father. The terms of Christ's covenant were such that, if He would live His life blamelessly and offer that holy life upon the cross for sins, everone who looked to the Son of God would be granted forgiveness. The Father would look to Christ's sacrifice and see justice; and sinners would look to Jesus and find Mercy. As maturing disciples we find that Christ's covenant-mission is a pattern Christ calls us to follow. It is right to pray for the Lord to bless our lives. However, praying for the blessing and provision of God is not the same as covenanting with Him. A covenant is an altar upon which the Lord and His covenant partner give themselves fully to each other. The quality of a covenant relationship with God does not cease once prayers have been answered. For, in covenant love we mature from simply being "believers" to becoming living sacrifices, given to God's highest plans for us. A covenant with God accomplishes three interconnected goals: 1. It thrusts us beyond "subjective prayer" (prayer made primarily for our personal needs), 2. It brings us into a deeper commitment to God, 3. Out of greater commitment comes greater grace to accomplish God's redemptive work in the world. A covenant with God gives us the power and focus to bring forth that for which we were predestined. Making a covenant with God takes us further into our vision (destiny). Questions to Ask Myself Am I willing to take the High Road and seek that for which God has predestined me? Am I willing to covenant with God for the fulfillment of the personal destiny He has presently revealed to me? Affirmations I am not designed to drift -- I am designed for destiny. There is a destiny that God has for me that only I can discover. I can discover it only by detaching from the world and making myself available for the Holy Spirit. I allow Him to bring me into intimate relationships with others that will thrust me forward into my divine destiny. My future is not ahead of me -- it lies within me. Three Deceptions That Can Derail You From Your Destiny Philippians 3:17 -- "Brethern, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us." Paul faced a major problem in the first century. False teachers had slipped into the Church. The apostle warned the Philippians, and us by extension, to recognize the differences between a true man of God and a deceptive teacher or prophet. Without any sense of false humility, Paul declared that both his vision and his spiritual attitude were examples for us to follow. He instructs us in our powers of discernment to look for and observe leaders who exemplify, teach, and equip the church laity in the things Jesus demonstrated in His Own life, ministry, and outreach which include: 1. Embracing the love of God as it flows through us into others. 2. Posessing a passion and vision to carry the gospel of the kingdom to non-believers. 3. Posessing a passion to disciple believers in the church so they can be effective in discipling others. Philippians 3:2 -- "Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision." The first group Paul identified as "the dogs." In Paul's day one could find dozens of canines eating off the rubbish heaps outside cities, their faces bent downward as they sniffed and rooted out garbage to feed upon. Today's Church has similar people, fault-finders, who incessantly and self righteously feed upon the garbage and failures of the human condition. Paul is saying "Beware of those who always have something negative to say and are continually judging or slandering others and the ministry of others." Luke 18:9 -- "trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt." Beware when your teacher must frequently tear down others to lift himself up. Paul next warned against the "evil workers." These individuals proclaim Christ, but they do so from envy...strife....selfish ambition rather than from love. For them, building a church is a competitive endeavor, a business. James also underscores this problem, saying. "For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing." (James 3:16) The third warning was aimed against the "false circumcision" (Philippians 3:2). The essence of this error was that Christ's atonement was not enough for salvation; you also had to keep the whole system of Mosaic Laws to be saved. Today people continue to import religious obligations into the salvation experience. Paul separates himself from the Mosaic Law, revealing that his quest is to "be found in Christ, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ" (Philippians 3:9). Being [u]"in Christ" our destiny is not just to carry Christ inside of us but to reveal the fullness of His glory to the whole world. One of Paul's efforts as an apostle was to build a Gospel of the Kingdom consciousness into the new church believers thereby promoting unity. 2 Corinthians 4:6,7 -- "For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpasing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves."We carry a treasure in these earthen vessels. We are responsible for filling the earth, cities, regions and nations with the kingdom of God. Jesus is waiting for us to co-labor with Him to fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God. Blowing The Lid Off Limitation Matthew 28:19 - 'Go ye therefore, and disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Jesus has called us to live extreme lives as history makers who live in constant increase as we go about transforming the world for His glory and His kingdom -- just as He did! John 17:21,22 - "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou has sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me..." Jesus could enter into deep communion with His Father at will to receive downloads of wisdom and counsel. He knew the Father intimately, walked in His peace, and transformed the earth. John 14:12 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." Many believers have settled for less than God has intended and made available to us all along by his precious Holy Spirit. Many are content with partial victories because of a mind-set of limitation. Jesus blew the lid off limitation because He would not settle for a measure or for a limit. Human minds, wisdom, and ability are limited. He had to seek and rely on the fullness of God's Spirit upon Him in wisdom, understanding, counsel, might and knowledge, which enabled Him to do the things He did that radically changed the very course of history. Only the FULLNESS of God's Spirit satisfied Him. Revelation 3:1 - "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith He that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars......" Isaiah 11:2 - "And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;" These seven flows of the Holy Spirit (Presence of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, understanding, cousel, might, knowledge, and fear of the Lord) are available to every believer to help us live in constant increase as we go about transforming the world for His glory. John 7:37-39 - "If anyone thirst let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.' But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified." The word "river" is pluralized. This indicates multiple flows of the precious Holy Spirit. One Holy Spirit - seven functions or expressions of Him through us. It all starts with daily deep to deep communion with the Holy Spirit so that by His divine power we will be partakers of His nature in us (2 Peter 1:3,4). Acts 1:8 - "But you shall receive power (dunamis: dynamite miraculous power, force, might, strength, enabling power through the Holy Spirit) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Questions To Ask Myself: Am I settling for less of the Holy Spirit than God has intended and made available to Me? Am I content with partial victories because of a mind-set of limitation? Bible Study Techniques A. Devotional Study (To be used in teaching) Go directly to the Blble and read over a few times the portion to be taught. Then try answering the following questions: 1. What does this portion teach about God the Father...the Son...the Holy Spirit? 2. What does it teach about man? 3. Are there any warnings to heed? 4. Are there any commands to obey? 5. Are there any promises to claim by faith? When completing this exercise, draw some conclusions you can apply to your life or to the lives of those you are teaching. Then read over the teacher's manual or a Bible commentary to see if it agrees, clarifies, expands or qualifies what you have discovered. You will find this process will make the material more your own. You will be able to remember it better and share it with greater confidence. Be sure to give homework assignments -- to give the students introspection and reinforcement. eg. Questions to Ask Myself? Two or three questions that apply to who they are in Christ, limitations they my be putting on their spiritual advancement, and seeking their destiny in Christ. The work they do alone in answering these questions will benefit them more than many hours of Sunday School teaching. Also give them several verbal affirmations highlighting their inheritance in Christ which will be from points in the lesson. By verbally affirming their re-created status they will not be as likely to skim over the lesson and eventually forget it. B. Topic Technique (To be Used Individually) 1. In this Bible study technique you choose a topic--not a random topic but a topic that you feel the you need further revelation of. Examples of Topics: High Calling Boldness Fruitfullness Sanctification Love Compassion Spiritual Gifts Worship Praise Deliverance Healing Wisdom Humility Discipleship Growth Restoration 2. Pick out several books to study in the New Testament. 3. Develop a consciousness of the topic by meditation on it and by arousing some eager expectation of revelation to come. 4. As you focus on the topic begin reading the scripture. Write out the passages that have to do with the topic and ask the Holy Spirit for a deeper understanding. 5. At the end of the study session write a list of affirmations that affirm the written out scriptures and carry them with you throughout the day to say out loud and meditate on. 6. Share any revelation you have received with others in the body of Christ. Albert Finch http://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Harvest Thrust Matthew 9:37,38 - "Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." The Greek word translated "send out" is "ekballo", which at the root level means to "drive out." "Ballo" is where we derive the English word for "ballistic." There is force and sense of urgency, a driving out, a thrusting out of laborers into His harvest. We see this same word used in the context of Mark 1:12, describing Christ's actions after He received the infilling of the Holy Spirit at the Jordan River where, with the Spirit now in Him, "Immediately the Spirit DROVE Him into the wilderness." Jesus isn't going to thrust us out ill-equipped -- He is going to give us His effectual wonder-working power and authority to help bring in the harvest quickly. He's giving us boldness to cast out every hindrance to breakthrough, to restore those dreams and visions of long ago that we thought were lost. He's empowering and sending us out! And quickly! Matthew 10:7,8 - "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." "As you go, preach!" God calls every believer to preach the Gospel with power. God will give us a vision of His purpose for us, commission us, and release us to fulfill it (our destiny). Jeremiah 20:9b - "But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not." His word will be in your heart like a burning fire, shut up in your bones. You won't be able to hold it back. When the Word becomes as a burning fire in your heart and bones your focus will be on harvest and it won't be denied you. With the workings of the Word in you, you'll become a slayer of any giant that stands in your way of harvest. Even if there's a wall, you'll leap right over it, slaying the giants to bring forth the victory. They will hear of the works of Christ, see the works of Christ, know the works of Christ, and receive the good news of the Gospel. They will see the light of the fire of the Word burning within us. James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with who there is no variation or shadow of turning." John 12:36a - "While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." John 8:12 - "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." Affirmations As God's child, believing in the Son, and with His Spirit in me, I have the light! I am a son of Light! The Lord of the harvest empowers me to harvest in desolate places to see His harvest. I see God releasing me into my destiny in Christ Albert Finch http://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Foundational Prayer - Destiny Awaits Psalm 91:1 -- "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty." Jesus lived a life of of prayer, and when He needed dedicated prayer time He would send crowds and, most likely, potential resources away so that He could be with the Father. As a result He would not move, speak, or do anything that the Father did not ask Him to do. Our talking and listening to the Father should be a continuum or seamless activity. When we are in conversation with anyone we should ask the Lord, "Father, what do you want me to hear?" and "Father, how would you desire me to respond?" When we are consciously doing this the Lord will do amazing things and we are giving God glory in many more conversations and releasing His love more abundantly to others. Prayer is really for us to connect with Him, His nature, and for a conduit of His peace, love and joy to flow through us, but we must participate and engage relationally with Him in order for His presence to manifest through our lives in power. Psalm 62:1,5 -- "Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him." Prayer is tuning everything else out so we can hear from Him. When prayer is foundational and we allow His will to supercede our will we begin to develop vision -- as vision expands we commence to see our destiny (the purpose of God for our life). Prayer Principles to Connect With Our Destiny 1. To be successful in our vision, we must have a daily, dynamic prayer life with God. 2. We will never achieve our destiny without prayer because prayer is what keeps us connected to the Vision-Giver. 3. Prayer encourages us to get back in the fight of faith. 4. As prayer is the essential resource of vision, we remain connected to our Source for the renewal of our purpose, faith, strength, and perserverance. 5. God is the One who planted our life's purpose within us in the beginning. He has invested Himself in our dream and as we are obedient and stay committed He will bring our destiny to pass. Matthew 7:7,8 -- "Keep on asking and it will be given to you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened." Hebrews 12:1 -- "(We must) run with patience the particular race that God has set before us." Philippians 3:14 -- "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Separation Romans 1:1 - "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ called to be an apostle, separated unto the Gospel of God." Many are called, but we are never separated. That separation is a threefold thing: First: The New Creation separates us from the old life. Second: As the Word is built into us, we are separated unto Christ. First, there is a separation from the world; now there is a separation unto the Master. Jesus becomes the Lord of our lives. His Word dominates us. Thirdly: In our walk then, as we are separated unto Christ, we come to believe that God has a purpose for our life (our destiny). We ask, seek, and knock (Matt. 7:7,8) until we understand what that purpose is. As we receive revelation of that purpose through the Holy Spirit we separate ourselves from those things which are not sinful in themselves but unnecessary. This separation continues year after year as we pursue our destiny in Christ, walking in the fulness of His fellowship. Questions To Ask Myself Am I completely sold out to the Lord Jesus Christ? How many hours per day do I meditate on Jesus and His purpose for my life vs. participating and thinking about society (it's demands, requirements, and pleasures)? What is my plan to increase my Christ consciousness?[/size] Albert Finch www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Spiritual Victory Behind Enemy Lines Ephesians 6:12 -- "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." The reality is that we're in battle. We're being prevailed against. Some of us are "losing" in the fight against sin and sickness, disease and death. Some of us are losing the battle for our kids to know Jesus. Some of us are battling for our marriages. Some of us are battling against poverty, and the very things that hinder the fulfillment of the prophetic word in our lives. War wages for the fulfillment of our very divine destinies. Hosea 4:6 -- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou has forgotton the law of God, I will also forget thy children. This infers that if God's people had knowledge of who they really are in Christ, of who God is, and of the rights and priveleges of their dominion -- they wouldn't be destroyed. As soon as we become blood-bought believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we're thrust behind enemy lines, though assured of God's protection. However, we're also reminded that we operate in an environment of spiritual terrorism. ".....We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one" (1 John 5:19). John 15:7 -- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Jesus walked in union with His Father. We too must do the same with Him. We only have true spiritual authority to the degree that we are abiding in Him. The angels do not respect us and the demons do not obey us because of who we are, but because of who is in us. The Bible says that the birds of the air come to snatch away the Word of God (Luke 8:5-15). The birds of the air are the demons that snatch away the Word from a man's heart, but only because a man leaves it out there unprotected. The devil cannot take away the word from our hearts if we hold it close and protect it through: Affirming It Out Loud Meditating on It, And visualizing it coming to pass in our lives. Psalm 78:9-11 -- "The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows, yet they turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God and refused to walk in His law; they forgot His deeds and His miracles that He had shown them." The apostle John wrote, "They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death." (Rev. 12:11). The elements of victory are recounted to us in this passage. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb: This means we no longer are fighting FOR victory but we fight FROM victory. Winning is assured when we enter the battle. Matthew 11:12 -- Violent men take the Kingdom by force. It is to be understood that our battles are to be the manifestations of His victory. The ultimate challenge is not the battle itself but the decision to participate. Notice that the "armor of God" in Ephesians Chapter 6 has no protection for your back. We are ill-equipped for retreat. The shield of faith is our truth and our buckler. It's the truth of the Word of God, and it's given to every believer to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one (Eph. 6:6). But it has to be used. We are to be doers of God's Word. When we act, the shield moves when we do, even if we don't feel it. 1. We don't have the Sword of the Spirit until the Word has been made real to our spirit. 2. We don't have the Shield of Faith until we walk in that faith of who God says we are in Christ. 3. We don't have the Shoes of Peace until we get into the presence of God. 4. We don't have the Helmet of Salvation until we have a revelation of Christ's finished work on the cross. 5. We don't have the Breastplate of Righteousness until we start thinking like God thinks. 6. We don't have the Belt of Truth until the Holy Spirit leads us into the truth of the fullness of the reality of God. Matthew 6:10 -- "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. God's world collides with the world of darkness, and His world always wins. Our battle is always a battle for dominion -- a conflict of kingdoms. God has chosen to work through us. We are His delegated authority on planet earth, and prayer is the vehicle that gives occasion for His invasion. Those who don't pray allow darkness to continue ruling. The enemy's greatest efforts at deceiving the Church are centered on diluting the purpose and effect of prayer. Albert Finch http://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Sitting At The Feet Of The King as Royalty 1 Peter 2:9 -- "For you have been chosen by God Himself -- you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own -- all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light." We know we are a priesthood, chosen by God, possessed by God, holy like God and royal to God. We have immediate access to Him and we don't need a human priest as a mediator because our Heavenly Father provided one Mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. We have direct access to God, through God. Now we're certainly not chosen, possessed, and holy to do nothing and to live mediocre lives. Of course not! We're called to minister in the presence of God, to live an active role in His presence. Our lives are a priestly service through: 1. Holy intercession, and 2. Discipling new believers into their inheritance in Christ. Romans 12:1 -- "I beseech you therefore, bretheren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." As priests we are to serve God no matter what our vocation. Not because we have to, but because we want to! And, there is not one vocation that is more "sacred" than another because Christ is Lord over all. His Word applies to all. The Word does not say that ministry is "sacred" and other vocations are "secular." Life itself is sacred. God is life and all Believers are life giving priests. Because we are royal priests we are called into royal service, to be a wonderful message to the world! We have been commissioned to display His nature, His kindness, His goodness, and His ministry to a world that needs to know Him. We can bear the burdens of others and we are the go-between for them before God. We identify with the weak, helpless, fear-filled, unborn, sick, poverty stricken, homeless, hungry, depressed, and spiritually destitute. We ask on their behalf, in faith, believing. Then, as the Father gives direction, we GO and minister to them and His power becomes available to set them free. As soon as we're saved we are to be discipled so we can be disciples doing what Jesus did. Then, we GO and equip more disciples (Matthew 28). We move out of the church building into the works of the Kingdom! Affirmations I am not designed to drift -- I am designed for destiny. I seek God for my destiny, and don't lose sight of the heavenly vision. I carry within me the resurrection power of Christ -- I have the power to BECOME. I am ready to expand my reality and become the destiny for which I have been predestined. Albert Finch http://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

Works Ephesians 1:3 - "According as he hath chosen us in him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." God knew us before we were born. Ephesians 2:8,9 - "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." So, we can thank God in Christ for liberating us from a "works based" salvation, ie. we are not working for acceptance or to earn our salvation. Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Yet, the revelation that salvation is not based on our works should not be interpreted as though the family of God is a "work-free zone." God has not liberated us from the realm of works, only from self-generated, religious "dead works." As new creations, the Holy spirit dwells in us in an eternal relationship. His presence is a living reality, capable of speaking to us, inspiring and directing our lives to fulfill God-inspired works. We are not saved by our works, but neither are we saved from works. Destiny The truth is, we have been "created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." So we are saved by faith, but God has a destiny for us that requires that we work with Him to see it come to pass. Pursuit is the thing that attracts heaven to bring us into that destiny. But whatever God's destiny is for us, Paul says, "....work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." "God is at work in you." This is such an amazing reality. It does, indeed, inspire fear and trembling, yet it is also the source of great confidence. For if it is God who is working in us, He will soon be working through us. It will look like us working, but it will really be God manifesting His works through us. Our Task is: 1. To seek Him. 2. To study His Word. 3. To minister to Him through prayer and worship. 4. Then we are to make his inner working visible through us. This is exactly how Jesus revealed the Father. He said, "...my Father who lives in me does His work through me" (John 14:10). Affirmations I EXPERIENCE GOD-INSPIRED IDEAS, LOVE-ACTIVATED THOUGHTS RISING UP INTO MY MIND FROM THE REDEMPTIVE SPIRIT OF GOD. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WORKING THROUGH ME TO REVEAL JESUS. I AM ALIVE TO BURN FOR GOD. I'M ALIVE TO MAKE HIM KNOWN. I FOCUS ALL MY ENERGIES ON CARRYING HIS PRESENCE WITH EXCELLENCE - I CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE A MOMENT IN MY LIFE WHEN CIRCUMSTANCES DISTRACT ME FROM TENDING THAT FIRE IN MY HEART. Lifting Up My Heart To Jesus 1 Samuel 3:1 -- "In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions." If Eli could not hear from God, the people would not receive messages from Him. The only words that we receive that are of help to people are words from God. If we don't spend time listening to Him, then we will receive not words by which we will bless and encourage His people. 1 Samuel 3:7 -- "Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him." He'd never heard God speak, but he still enjoyed His presence. We need to hear from God; we need to hear the word of the Lord. We can only hear from God if we spend time with Him. We can only hear from Him if we have a relationship with Him. Our relationship to God is the most important thing in our lives, therefore we need to give it the utmost care. Psalm 91:1 -- "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." There is a secret place inside us where God dwells. When we abide with Him in the Spirit. In that secret place, we will experience the evidence of His presence with us. We have the greatest calling to fulfill in the universe: to live out our destiny in Christ with God's power living and working through us. The secret place is not a physical place like it was in Samuel's day. Our secret place is in our own hearts. We can go anywhere and still focus on Him in our spirit and be in the secret place of the Most High. We might be at work, yet we can enter into the presence of the Lord by simply going to the quiet place in our spirit and find Him there waiting for us. It is in this place where the Lord speaks and we listen. In the secret place is where we will find God's purpose (destiny) for our life. Samuel had never heard God until he spent time in His presence. They developed a relationship with each other. Samuel became one with God; they became friends. As we develop friendship with God, then He can show us how to love others. As we are first filled with the power to truly love others by loving Him and by receiving His love for us we will come to realize our need to disciple other believers. This only comes through our communion with Christ. We need to hear the voice of the Lord! We need to hear His voice now more distinctly than ever before, because we need a personal revelation of our destiny in Christ. Eli had gotten used to residing in his "usual place" in the house of God. We, too, can get too used to our relationship with God the way it is. But God wants us to come out away from our "usual place" and seek Him afresh and anew -- to turn from all else and seek only Him. He wants to show His love for us in a new way. Affirmations I resolve to get to know Him in a fresh way and experience new aspects of His character -- to experience new facets of His love. As I love Him as I have never loved Him before my capacity to love others is enlarged. As I abide in the secret place in silence I lift up my heart to Him in love and experience munion of His presence. Albert Finch http://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

The Kingdom Of God False foundations, paradigms, illegitimate structures, systems, and limitations must bow to the Father's Kingdom. His Kingdom is perpetually coming to earth, and one day will fill the earth in Father's glory, as the water covers the sea. The Kingdom of God is within us, and whether we are noticing it or not, will continue to break through on earth as it is in Heaven. The shaking must happen, and yet those who desire to live in His inheritance that Christ paid for will see His glory now, in the midst of the natural chaos that is seemingly all around them. Some Reminders of Father's Kingdom: 1. Kingdom is within: "The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within (or among) you." Luke 17:20-21 2. Kingdom approached through understanding: "When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, He said to him "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." Mark 12:34 3. Kingdom accepted like a child: "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Mark 10:15 4. Kingdom entered through spiritual rebirth: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit." John 3:5 5. Kingdom entered through doing the will of God: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father who is in Heaven." Matthew 7:21 6. Kingdom that will be inherited by the righteous: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the Kingdom of God?" 1 Corinthians 6:9 Christianity has received a heavy dose of the gospel of salvation or rebirth through our Savior, but Father is making it clear that He desires far more than eternal destiny in some distant future. Father desires for us to live in His inheritance now, intimate and obedient to Him on this planet, while eternity unfolds. One of the big reasons we have not seen the power of God through the Body of Christ is because most of the Body of Christ does not even know who they are, nor the incredible eternal seed of Father's glory that is within them. We are stuck in the idea of waiting on Jesus and Heaven, while Jesus and the substance of Heaven is waiting on us. So the shaking and awakening continues as the Lord brings us from our bankrupt paradigms and lifestyles, to Ambassadors of His Kingdom and influencers of His Heavenly Substance. Keep in mind: Heaven has never been the Father's goal. Father's plan through creation and the new birth in Christ has always been to know Him intimately as Father, while being His light and His love to the world. Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." Our identity is in Him, as movers and shakers of faith motivated by His love, and He has given us freedom to act against ourselves to live, move, and have our being in His will and in His ways. By His Spirit we can choose to abandon fear and hopelessness, and embrace the destiny that has been deposited within each of us. We must embrace His love on a continuum and not rely on what we see. As we seek His Kingdom, His love, His righteousness, what we need will be added, and Father will remove all fear and limitations that have kept us from His best. Healing and wholeness for the journey will come as we allow His light to dispel the darkness in our souls. Affirmations I am ready to expand my reality and become the destiny for which I have been predestined. I live my life with a sense of my unique devine destiny supported by goals and aims. As I look toward heaven, God is pointing me toward my destiny. I seek God for my destiny, and don't lose sight of the heavenly vision -- the advancement of His Kingdom. My promised land (my destiny) lies on the other side of fear. As I speak the Word over my own life and prophesy my own Destiny in agreement with Him, I release the Holy Spirit in greater measure to bring the Word to pass. Discipling vs. Counseling Some people that attend church are looking for "Christian Counseling" but what would be more beneficial in most circumstances would be discipleship equipping. That would involve focusing on their spiritual condition rather than their personal problems. Areas that involve discipling are: 1. Understanding their inheritance in Christ and who they are in Christ. 2. Understand their "Right Standing With God." 3. Understanding of how to "Walk in the Spirit. Having been discipled in these areas they are now ready to go and disciple and equip others for discipleship. Matthew 28:19 - "Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus said, "Your attitude must be like my own, for I the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life." Romans 2:8 - "God will pour out His anger and wrath on those who live for themselves." Albert Finch http://twitter.com

How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life? Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere. What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give. Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25) "God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) "Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62) "The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24) "We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20) "We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10) Affirmations AS I RECOGNIZE HIS PRESENCE AND TURN ASIDE TO STAND BEFORE HIM, I BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF HIS VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS OF TODAY. AS I EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND SEEK FOR SOMETHING MORE, I AM CALLED APART TO BE ALONE WITH THE LORD FOR A TIME OF PREPARATION. AS I RECEIVE ANOINTING AND IMPARTATION OF GOD'S GRACE, I WALK A GRACE-FILLED LIFE IN ORDER TO SEE THE GLORY OF GOD FILL THE EARTH. Albert Finch http://twitter.com/aliosias

Sense of Devine Destiny Ephesians 5:14-18 - "Wake up from your sleep, and arise from the dead, And Christ shall shine upon you. Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the evils of these days. Don't be vague but grasp firmly what you know to be the will of the Lord." As believers, we are instructed to live our daily lives with a sense of ur unique devine destiny supported by goals and aims. 2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, "my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. As we yield our wills and ways to the control of God's Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the walk of grace, as Jesus lives His life through us.. The fire of passion burns brightly with this deposit of grace. Luke 3:2 - The word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. The word of God came to John the Baptist while he was alone in the wilderness, thus giving him clear direction for the days ahead. As a result of his being alone with the Lord, John came into a oneness with the Lord that could not have been accomplished in any other way. John 1:23 - "John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, 'I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord'." Each one of us should come to the place where we also could make this statement, "I am the voice of One." There is an urgent need for this voice to cry out in the midst of the frustrations and perils of our present day. We need to stand in the manifest presence of the Lord to be prepared as the "voice of one crying in the wilderness" of our day. May it be stated of us, as it was of the disciples of old, that it is apparent we have been with Jesus. This, and only this, will make the changes that must occur if we are to reach this hurting world with the message of God's redemptive, transforming grace. Affirmations AS I RECOGNIZE HIS PRESENCE AND TURN ASIDE TO STAND BEFORE HIM, I BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF HIS VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS OF TODAY. Albert Finch (Facebook) http://twitter.com/aliosias
