The Ribhouse is great, I think you will like it RogerBenett_Fan! I just went to Rick Hendrix's website. His company has so many big name groups and lesser known as well. I sure understand why Spoken 4 caught his attention, I just hope he helps get them out in the main stream of Southern Gospel and Christian Music! I am so glad to see that more of you are beginning to hear about Spoken 4, and are loving them like I do! I just don't understand, unless it's politics, why they aren't nominated for Horizon Group of the Year again! They have the talent, the heart, the pesonalities, and the overall sound to be great for years to come, as long as the keep their focus on HIM!! They are tops in my humble opinion!!! I love all their music!.....My Favorite CD, so far, is their Live one.

I was (and still am) very upset that Spoken 4 wasn't nominated for the Horizon this year! If anyone deserves it, it is Spoken 4. Like you already said, they have everything it takes to make it! I don't know of one other group in SGM that has the sound that they do. So many groups out there sound alike, but Spoken 4 sounds like no one else but themselves! There is no way someone can mistake the voices and harmony of Jon, Cecil, Jeremy and Thomas for some other group! They are truly unique in their sound and character. Talking to these guys at the product table is like talking to family!

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all of you on this thread for the kind thoughts and words that you have shared about Spoken 4. We all really appreciate it! I pray that 2009 will be a great year for our group. We do have a new CD coming out titled "He Knows Your Address", and we hope that it will be ready for realease by early May. The Project will have what I would term as a "good mix" of new and old songs that mean a lot to all of us, and hopefully they will strike a similar cord with all those who listen to them on this recording! I will share more about the CD once it is officially released. Hope to drop by and keep in touch with you all more often, and I want to cordially invite those of you who have not heard our group before to come on out and see us sometime in concert when we visit an area close to you! Until then, May God continue to bless you all! Thanks again! Your brother in Christ, JC.

Tommy is one of the best arrangers out there. I have known Tommy since I was 5 years old and is a great friend of the family. Anything that Tommy is a part of you know will go places. He has been a blessed man with great talent.

I totally agree with you littlewhitebyrdfan, Tommy has been blessed with some awesome abilities. The same can be said for the group of singers that he is now surrounded with,and I love the fact that the guys in Spoken 4 are not too proud, stuck up, or fake...I have seen them all in concert many times, and I can tell you that they are as genuine off stage as they are on the stage.....and that is why I love these fellas! Tommy made an excellent decision when he decided to be part of this group!!!, and yes they are going places!

I heard today from a friend of mine at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO that Spoken 4 will be part of a gospel cruise going to Alaska in August of 2010, but she didn't have much information about it. Does anyone on here have any specific information as to where is leaving from?, How long it will be?, and what Cruise line? Just needed some info, so I can plan to go. Thanks!

Meeting at SDC sounds like a plan! I know some ppl from the KC area and Lawrence, KS who will be driving in ~ I'll be sure to tell them about our plans and introduce them to the forums. There are several from AR who will be up and even as far as MS and IN driving in. As soon as you decide where you all would like to meet up, we'll get the word out. Spoken 4 has the nicest fans! It will be great to meet everyone.
Is anyone making plans to see them at Music City Centre in Branson on October 11th? Concert starts at 8:00pm Sunday evening.

Yes! I plan on going in October to see Spoken 4 at Silver Dollar City. I am disappointed though, I just heard from close friends that SDC is now charging and EXTRA $15 to get good seats at the shows (just like Dollywood). That really, really discourages me - the price of a season pass is expensive enough in this economy and they expect you to pay EXTRA for good seats - not very cool. My friends are older and have been going to the park since they first opened, they said this is their last year b/c it is just getting ruined to the point where there is no enjoyment in it anymore. I guess they really raised the prices of everything else throughout the park too. They're good ppl and rarely have any complaints, so I know it must be pretty bad to have gotten them down like that.
I do plan on seeing Spoken 4 Mother's Day weekend, (just a few weeks!!!) not sure what day I'm going. It would be great if we could all meet at the Boatworks Theater. Do you plan on being at all four shows? Let me know what day you plan on being there so I can schedule to be there that day also. I'm sure anticipating buying their new project that weekend!!!!

Anyone see Cecil Stringer's pic on page 63 in the May issue of SN?
My mom called and asked, "Did you see Cecil's pic in the SN this month? It's on page 63."
Sure enough, there he is in a pic advertising the Southern Gospel Picnic for SDC!
Can't wait to see the guys at SDC next weekend!!!
No news yet on the gospel cruise dates.

I can't believe SDC is doing that too! That really makes me sad. I think if you take extra time to stand in line for a show you want to see, you should be able to get a good seat WITHOUT paying extra.
Anyway, I do plan on going to SDC on Mother's Day weekend to see Spoken 4! I hope I can make it for all four shows, I sure plan on it. I will let you know what day I'm going, it would be nice to meet you. And I hope it DOES NOT rain!  (Since they will be in an outdoor theatre.)

Wishing Mr. T success in his next adventures. Like I told Tommy yesterday that he will be GREAT no matter where God Puts him this time of his life. He has blessed so many people during his path in GOSPEL MUSIC including our family for 40 years. I started going to Blackwood Bros concerts when I was 5 and have grown up with his special ministry & friendship.

August 24 - 30, 2010
