Shalom, gegeven0szoun9ster. It's been a month since I last posted, but I got to re-reading some of the old things and realized that I forgot an important point: The New Jerusalem will be a significant "source" of light for the New Earth! First, I won't go into all the details, but I believe (based on biblical clues) that the New Jerusalem will descend to the New Earth and land. Second, I believe that the New Jerusalem is a very literal city that will consist of "semiprecious" gems in a pyramid shape, 1500 miles by 1500 miles by 1500 miles. Third, I believe that the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the pinnacle, above the amethyst level of the city. Fourth, Rev 21:10-11 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; KJV Rev 21:23-25 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. KJV Rev 22:3-5 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. KJV Therefore, the brightness of God and of the Lamb will be a significant source of light for the earth! Not actually replacing the sun and the moon, but the CITY won't have need of them. Now, in light of this, carefully consider Isaiah 24:23... Isa 24:21 23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. KJV The Hebrew can be transliterated as follows: Yesha`yahuw 24:23 23 V’chaafraah halvaanaah uwvowshaah hachamaah kiy-maalakh YHVH Ts’vaa’owt b’har Tziyown uwvi-Yruwshaalaim v’neged z’qeenaayw kaavowd: PC Study Bible V5 Interlinear Bible The words "chaafraah" and "vowshaah" were translated with anthropomorphism as "confounded" and "ashamed" respectively. However, the words can also mean "'confused' or 'mixed up'" and "outdone" respectively. Translating with these substitutions will give the following: 23 Then the moon shall be mixed up, and the sun outdone, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. Now, picture it. The sun will be in the sky, perhaps just about to set in the west, and the New Jerusalem will be off to our east close to the horizon. The moon is high in the sky between them and has an interesting phase design, lightened by the sun on one side and by the New Jerusalem on the other! Thus, no longer will the moon be a simple "new moon," "first quarter moon," full moon," or "last quarter moon." Then, there will be MULTIPLE phases of the moon changing HOURLY! It'll be VERY awesome! In the Messiah's love, Roy
