Cynthia - I'm glad it will work out for TL to have the money for camp. I am with you that someone should've explained the situation better, so families weren't counting on that money. I have a friend who is raising money for 3 of her children to go to camp. If she had been in that situation that would've been $225 to come up with! I would venture to guess that there are other families who were counting on that money too. I'm like you, I feel that I need to say more about the baptism situation. There is nothing that can be done for me, but they need to be aware of it for future trips! Letting parents know ahead of time would've been a good idea. I think the adults just assumed that all the kids had already been baptized. I can't imagine that with all the adults there no one thought about it. Happy Birthday Ellie!! Hope you have a GREAT day! Glad to hear Melissa is home from the hospital! Praying she's feeling better! I have had the stomach bug since early Wednesday morning! I woke up at 2AM & was pretty much in the bathroom until 4:30AM. Then up & down until dh's alarm went off. He got up & called his boss and asked for the day off. Am I a lucky woman or what? He took dd to golf, went to the store & got me some powerade & things he thought I could eat. Unfortunately, it continued all through the day (although I got an almost 2 hour nap without having to go to the bathroom). I had taken the maximum amount of anti-diarrheal medicine that you can take by 4AM, so I waited & took more before bedtime. I am feeling better today (but weak) and ate a piece of toast without running straight to the bathroom! Ds has a dentist appointment this afternoon, so dh is going to get off work early. I might feel good enough to take him, but would hate to spread this to anyone else. We're also supposed to go to a ballgame tonight. I'm going to tell dh to go ahead & take the kids. I'd hate to get there & have a recurrence, KWIM? I'm going to go lay down on the couch for a while. I did sleep better last night, but was still up several times.

Hi Everyone! Thanks SO much for the prayers!! It is so nice to be home in my own bed. I told my hubby that I need him to turn the lights on and off and make beeping noises so I felt "at home". LOL It was s quiet and dark in my bedroom! Aaaahhh... My head feels pretty good. I still have some sinus pain, but the migraine feels pretty much gone. I am on a couple of preventative meds, so hopefully going forward I will not go down that path again. The process of getting the Imitrex out of my system and getting the migraine under control in the hospital was NOT fun. But I was very glad to be there finally getting good care! I expect that the next couple of weeks will help show how things are going. I am not going to rush back to work. I need to let the preventative meds work and make sure that the migraine does not come back. And I need to get my strength up so that I can function in my daily life. Thanks again for your prayers!!

If they are sugar ants you can make a potion that will kill them without poison. Mix sugar and borax with a little water to form a slurry. Put it in lines along their path. They will eat it up, take it back to the nest, spit it out and it will make it's way through the entire colony. The borax will kill the ants. This usually works. Something else I would try would be to vacuum up some borax in an empty vacuum cleaner bag, then suck up the ants as they come in. I'm not sure if that would work or not, but it's worth a try. I don't know if vacuuming the ants will kill them, but if it doesn't the borax should dry them out and kill them, if they are in it long enough. After having been sucked up with the vaccum, it may daze them enough to suck the moisure out of their bodies.

Glad you are home and better, Misa. Amy, Hope you are better soon. Happy Birthday, Ellie!!! I am trying to move documents off of the main drive onto an external hard drive. I do it a little at a time, otherwise it gets overwhelming. Today I had downloaded two things, then moved them to the other drive, but for some reason they did not show up there. I had to re download them again and then move them to the external drive. Then make folders for them so I know what's in there. I had also moved all music and podcasts to that drive at his request. It had been working fine and then last week I could not use the program I had on that drive for podcasts. Dh told me the external drive was not for programs. I told him I was baffled then as what to do for podcasts because I now had no way to store them. I can use windows media player for music, but not for podcasts. He doesn't want podcasts stored on the main drive, so what was I to do? He set up the podcasts to the external drive...only thing is now one of the ones I subscribe to won't download episodes anymore..I have no idea why. And I have to re-rip a good part of my music collection because not all of it made it over with the drive switch. This will make the third time I've had to put music back on there because very time a drive is switched, not all of it transfers.

I'm taking my car in to have the brakes fixed today and planning to walk home, 2.5 miles. I hope the weather holds out. They're calling for severe thunderstorms off and on today. Picking it up in the afternoon may be tricky.

Judy--uh, yah, the storms hit here about 6am. Dh is driving to Cleveland this morning to get ds1 at camp. He's driving right through the storm... When they get home, ds1 has to shower, repack, and we head to Bloomington for his bike tour. I'm staying overnight there and will drive home in the morning. Then, at 4am Sunday morning I head back up to Cleveland for myr ace that starts at 7am. I thought I had a place to say, but last minute plans changed that.

I slept in until 8am. I would have slept later, but I was attacked by a beagle. He had the zoomies and the bed jsut happened to be in his path. Once on the bed, he jumped on me and licked my face. We're still getting used to an ankle high missile.

Amy, glad you're feeling better. Melissa, I hope you continue to get better and that they figure out how to stop your migraines. I had a great walk. It was a little over 2.5 miles on a hilly route and I was home in 38 minutes. That's with stops at the pawn shop and my husband's office. I only ran a little of the way, but I was walking pretty briskly the rest of the time. If the storms hold off, I'll walk back to pick it up. Now for the bad news. The brake pads are shot on the front and the back. The rotors on the front need to be replaced too. Looks like it will be over $600 for parts and labor. The vehicle is 8+ years old with close to 80,000 miles on it, so I guess we're going to start having more repairs like this in our future. Goes with the territory I suppose.
