His - I'm with you about the poop vs. pee clean up! Glad your doggie is OK! Well, we still have no A/C! And YES, it is really HOT here! We got home from church & it was working, but then it started making a whining & chirping noise. We called the landlord & he said the blower was dying & asked us to turn it off, so the unit wouldn't freeze up. We put the portable a/c back on. Then while I was grilling steaks out, I heard a big bang (like a car backfiring) and the electricity went out! It took them several hours to get it back on. We decided it would be cooler to sleep outside (there was a nice breeze). We had already set up the tent & gotten cots/sleeping bags etc.. in there when they got it back on! We all slept in our room. The landlord came by & took the blower motor, but just got a new one this morning & will hopefully be by soon to fix it! What a weekend! Then I got to my mammogram appointment this morning & they realized that it hasn't quite been a year since my last one (I'm thankful they caught it beforehand, or the insurance wouldn't have paid for it)! So, I had to reschedule that! Now, someone just called to ask if dh can be a 2nd adult on a scout campout this coming weekend! Aren't things supposed to slow down in the summer?

Amy, Glad your ac is working. We have a heat advisory for this afternoon/evening..I bet we had one today too and I just didn't see it. Starting Thursday and for all next week our heat indices will be at 105, except tomorrow where it will be 106. It is going to be a hot summer it seems. Earlier this morning took my blessing to play in a sprinkler park. She enjoyed herself. We may have to start swimming in the morning and leave in the early afternoons with the heat like this. Our power clicked off two times today...hopefully it won't keep happening.

Praying that the interview goes well, Cindy. Will this job allow you to quit your current one? Will the actual job be a 2 hour drive from your home?

We now have an excessive heat warning for today...translation...stay inside during the afternoon/evening. Heat index is already at 102 at 11 a.m.

Cindy--good luck!!! I got the back yard mowed this morning. I started the front yesterday then got too hot to finish it. Then, I moved the first dirt pile. Ds1 dug out two to the trhee stumps and I had planned on planting some fruit trees. Well, the third stump never got dug out, trees never planted... Neighbor is concerned about mosquitos growing in the hole (really not an issue!) so I figured I better do something about it. The past two mornings we've had a new robin hatchling. I was expecting another this morning but there are still just two, with two eggs. This is the second clutch this season. Wonder if Momma Bird will ever figure out that we use the back door all day long, and with her nest right next to the door, she's going to get interupted all day long.

I talked to Cindy this morning on her way to the interview. She left early and made good time with the morning traffic. I told her that we are praying for her!! I am starting to feel better. My cycle is messed up (too) so I have no idea when to expect my period, but I think that it is due tomorrow. I woke up with terrible stomach cramps this morning... I am kinda scared because the last time I got a "real" period was when the migraines set in. But I am praying that this month will be different! (The migraines set in 6 weeks ago, and I had a mini-period two weeks later.) I still don't have tons of energy, but that is okay. I am getting around the house and cooking and stuff... generally feeling more human. I might take my daughter out to look at swimsuits and maybe hit the fabric store. The only other time I have been out of the house for fun was on Fathers Day. I need to take a good look at what we accomplished this school year and make sure that we got enough done. We missed some time with the move, and then at the end with the migraines. But we have accomplished a lot and I just need to figure out what needs to be reviewed by the certified teacher for next year. I am planning to call her today so I know what to expect. She is a teacher, but has also homeschooled, and she helped me get started this year, being in a new state.

Judy, praying for your family. Cindy, praying for the interview. I meant to say that I was going to join the procrastination club, but I never got around to telling anyone. Maybe I'll join next month.

I want to join the procrastinators' club too, but I am not sure if I have time. Maybe once I get all of my other stuff done. Can someone remind me tomorrow?

My goodness, I haven't been in here for a while! Summer is flying by for us! School starts in around 6 weeks! I am so not ready for it. We are trying desperately to get out of debt before we buy school books. I figured I need to spend a good chunk of money on Notgrass & TT Algebra. I think I have most of everything else. We also have a convention coming up that we are *suppose* to attend and that will cost a good chunk of money, too. Maybe I should of put all this in the prayer request folder! Anyways, Everything is going fine. I still need to do some school with Dd age 7, but haven't been getting around to it. I'm hoping we will start up again soon. The doc. is trying to figure out why I am short of breath with this baby. She has me on an inhaler to see if it is asthma. So far, I don't notice the inhaler doing much...but I'm suppose to try it for a couple weeks. Otherwise, they want to do an echogram (sp?) on my heart...that has me a little worried. BUt, I'm sure I can just chalk everything up to pregnancy. We are still stuck on a name. I find myself calling him Jabin, but I really don't know if I want to go out on a limb and name him that. . The kids all like Isaac for a name. And, I thought we had Levi picked out, but now DH made a comment...so I have no idea what he wants. I wish he'd pick between the three of them!

I might send out procrastination club reminders tomorrow, if I get around to it. The interview went well. I talked to the nurse manager for awhile, and then she took me around the unit. After Carolyn said, "What are you doing here?" and gave me a hug, and Kay said, "I haven't seen you in FOREVER!" and gave me a hug, and the medical director said, "Are you coming to work here?" and then stood behind me mouthing, "Hire her!" to the nurse manager, I'm thinking I might get a job offer. It seems that half the staff used to work in my old unit. To answer the questions, yes, I would be quitting my current job and yes, it's right down the street from where I work now, so the drive would be the same. I think I would like working there, but I have another interview on Monday and so I will reserve judgment until after that one. At this point I will take whichever job will fit my life best unless I go to the second interview and think I would hate working there. My tox doc, however, doesn't want me to leave. I told him that I love working with him (not a lie!) and that if the poison center ever splits off from triage so that I could only do poison, I'd be happy to work for him again if he needed someone. I will not do triage ever again and I will not work for the triage medical director ever again. He said he is gonna get a couple of people to put their heads together and see if there is some way he could hire me specifically to work for him and cover poison. He would give me a laptop and I could do it from home. I said I'd certainly consider it if he can get the powers that be to agree to it, but it would most likely be on an as-needed basis so I still need another job. If I got enough poison hours I could cut down to part time at the other job, which would cut out some drive time, so there are lots of possibilities.

Cindy, I hope things work out for you to enjoy your job. It sure would be nice if you could work from home. That would free up time and money. I'm praying for you. Today was my first day tutoring. It went very well. The little girl would have happily played decimal street with me all day. Her mother was concerned that she might take a while to warm up to me, but she seemed quite content and comfortable right from the start. I think she was getting the hang of it pretty quickly and hope it continues to go so well. If so, she will be more than ready for multiplication in the fall. I hope to have her started on her multiplication facts before she gets there, so she will have a head start. If this works out well, this may be something I would like to do more of.

Cynthis, How much do you charge? Just curious. My living room is painted. The kitchen gets painted tomorrow. Yay!
