Hi

I teach math in a public high school. Do any of you know where I can get good curriculmn guides for Algebra I and II and geometry stuff?

Curriculum guides? The table of contents on the math books? We just use math sequentially as presented in the Saxon math series.

I am also partial to the Key To series by Key Curriculum Press, which we use along with Saxon Math when we need extra help with anything.

I have used them to tutor public school students and with my home school students. They are great once you can pinpoint where the student is lacking understanding, and they provide worksheets that are very specific to that point.

I used them for Fractions, Algebra and Decimals. I know they also have a Geometry set. Very good price for a very useful tool.

You also might check with your school's curriculum provider. They usually have a lot of aids and guides available that correlate with the material you teach in the classroom.

My grandson's math book has a website for the textbook where he can go for help.

My kids are learning math based on the Singapore math curriculum. And i was also taught using this curriculum when i was little as well. You can refer to the singaporemath website if you want for some ideas.

We liked Paul Foerster's math books for algebra I and algebra II and trigonometry.

For higher maths I've heard Teaching Textbooks to be absolutely wonderful! My rising 8th grader uses SOS for her pre-algebra/pre-geometry but we may switch when she moves to algebra.
