Conan the Barbarian..and yes I know this was 100yrs ago...its still awful even on late night TV
and The Exorcist...I was in high school when that came out and I didn't have a clue what it was about..I still hate it.. and Ive never watched it again.

Rising Sun - I thought it was going to be a good movie because of the actors involved but...ughhh. After the movie was over we discovered the only reason we each stayed through the whole thing was because we thought the other person was liking the movie...ummm no!

A Kurdish movie called "Turtles Can Fly". *Shudders* It was HORRIBLE!!!! It still disturbs me to even think about it!!!

Other than that, the worst I've sat through are:

The Pirates Of The Caribbean
The Princess Bride (I didn't really watch all of it. But I did sit through it. I was talking to my friend over AIM while my youth group watched it)
The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

Wow! I feel violated by this post.

I was forced to watch "Turtles Can Fly" also as part of a college course I was taking involving social work. It is a BRUTAL movie, but I think it is valuable in helping us in the Western World understand ever-so-slightly how life is in the Middle East.

Worst movie for me??????? By far - Star Wars episode 1! Biggest disappointment known to man. I'm getting sick just thinking about it. Gotta go................

It's only the biggest disappointment if you don't count Episode 2 and 3. Blech.

Lucas missed a huge opportunity with those films. If I had a recommendation it would be to take the best stuff from Ep.1 and Ep.2 and make them into one film, make Ep.3 into the second but starting with the stuff covered in "Labyrinth of Evil" a book set right before the Ep.3 time, and leaving out all of the Padme'/Anakin drama and focus more on his betrayal of the Jedi and his move to the dark side, and make the 3rd basically the same as the book "Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader" . Quite possibly one of the best Star Wars books out there.

Worst movie I have sat through: Twilight...not the vampire movie, ( i liked it) but the 1998 movie with Paul Newman, or The Devil's Own with Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford. Both were real cruddy movies.

I watched "Megashark versus Giant Octopus" this weekend.

The only words I could use to adequately describe it would violate TOS and get me in trouble. So I will say this. I have seen a lot of bad movies where those who made them didn't have the budget to pull off what they attempted. I can honestly say that not only did the people who made this movie not care, but they probably thought that nobody who did care would notice.

LOL, somebody had me watch a youtube clip of that a few weeks ago. Lorenzo Lamas and a shark that can catch airplanes: what's not to love?

Okay, anybody out there remember a Japanese monster flick called "War Of The Gargantuas"? When I was a kid, Channel 5 in L.A. showed it all the time, I think every Halloween. It was truly awful, but as a kid I mest have watched it 10-15 times.
There was also one called "Son Of Godzilla" or something, with this little dinosaur that blew smoke rings.
Come to think of it, all Japanese monster movies were pretty . Maybe they shouldn't count as real movies

The most recent one was Wall-e. Even my grandchildren didn't like it. The animation was ok but everything else was totally inane.

The worst film I ever went to was HULK. I fell asleep in the cinema.

More recently I saw P.S. I Iove You. I only made it half way before I pressed the "eject" button.

It was called Army of Darkness. It was the first movie showing at the double feature drive in many many years ago. It was absolutely horrid.

Worst movie ever....... The Island of Dr. Munroe. Stupid does not do this movie justice.

People left but we didn't and the only reason I can think of is because we were young and strapped for cash.

The giant shark jumping out of the water to bite the airplane in midflight (defying I cannot even guess how many physical laws of nature) was probably the best part of the movie. That scene lasted less than ten seconds. 'Nuff said.

How you wound me. Army of Darkness was the final movie of the "Evil Dead" trilogy. Without those movies we would not have Bruce Cambell, nor would we have had Sam Raimi to direct the "Spider-Man" films.

But to each their own...

Did anyone mention Bankok Dangerous with Nicolas Cage? Ayayayay, I don't even have words to describe how awful this movie was. The acting was awful, the plot was awful, Nicolas Cage's hair was the MOST awful! Eeeek, I was really comfortable in my nap position on the couch and that is the only reason this movie kept playing to the end. Ugh.

E_Lin says:

The worst movie I have ever sat through at home will never stop making me feel like I had been violated, though it has been over two decades since I experienced the visual purgatory. You would know what I was talking about if you had ever seen "Howard the Duck" yourself. Now I am depressed for having thought about it. Irredeemable, that's what that movie is...

Yes, that was probably the worst movie I have ever seen. I wasted too much money seeing it at a theater.

I never saw 'Howard the Duck' because it came out when I was still at home and someone told my dad it was evil, so we weren't allowed to watch it. Seems I should be glad I didn't waste my time!

Gah! Best B movie ever! I have the poster, 3 shirts, and an Ash figurine. I'm a huge Bruce Campbell fan! Plus Ted Raimi (Sam Raimi's younger brother) is in all those movies as well. I love them!!!

Worst movie in theaters: Spanglish (Adam Sandler is only good as a comedian, in my opinion)

Worst movie rented: the Haunting of Molly Hartley (stupid me, I honestly thought it was a ghost movie. Instead it turned out to be a sequel to Rosemary's Baby. horrible film)

Seriously, dude. It was bad. At least in Hard Rock Zombies, they had heavy metal music. LOL

I won't go through a list, but currently...

I had the misfortune of watching 'Public Enemy' with Johnny Depp last night.

I had higher hopes for both the cast and the director...Egads, what a bomb!!

Gee, I thought it was pretty good. Even Johnny Depp was better than I had thought he would be. It was pretty loud though. Reminded me of my Army days and the firing ranges and the infiltration course.
