Yeah, They took the greatest, baddest, coolest villain that ever walked the silver screen and turned him into a whining brat that needed a good whooping! All he was missing an Ipod full of My Chemical Romance songs.

And Padme?! She died of a broken heart?! Huh??!!! Lucas couldn't manage anything better than that? Why not have her give birth, get healed, arm up and go to kick posterior? At least then, when she dies, she darn well earned a heroic funeral! And Vader would have at least earned his cred in the Evil dept.

But noo, she dies of stupid and he whines like a four-year old.

I hate that movie.

But the hardest thing to explain was WHY DID I SIT THROUGH ALL THREE? Why? What's the matter with me?

I need help.

As for Event Horizon, I should have walked out but I just could not accept that it was as bad as it was. I kept hoping that it was going to improve into something resembling good writing. Just call me Cleopatra...

Because back in the 1970's when we started watching the first movie we were promised cake. The cake is a lie, we got pie.

Pie could have been nice; we could have liked pie.

No, we got overmixed muffins with flavour buds.

not even real fruit.

Just flavour buds pretending to be fruit...

Santa Clause 3...super lame and painful to watch. Also hotel for dogs...total stupidity. I also hate space/science fiction movies that are completely scientifically inaccurate like red planet...they make me very angry

Transformers 2 is the hands-down worst for me, primarily because I grew up on Transformers. So much unnecessary junk, and only 1 battle that was good in the middle. I was ready to leave 15 minutes into the movie but stayed cause I kept thinking it's gotta get better...boy was I wrong!! I came home and threw away my TF1 movie after I saw this, it killed live-action TF for me until someone else reboots it.

I saw someone else mentioned Hulk, which I agree with also. Making a movie screen into a series of comic book panels does not work.

I also sat through Dragonbal Evolution, but I knew going in it was going to be bad and stupid. Since I've seen all the Dragonball cartoons, I just wanted to see what they did with the movie.

I may think of more once I get the TF2 abomination out my thought process for this.

During freshman year of college, they had a special Halloween movie night. 3 films were shown, and you got part or all of your admission back depending on how many you could sit through. The Vincent Price version of House on Haunted Hill, I Was a Teenage Frankenstein, and Hillbillies in a Haunted House. I made it through all 3, and the whole evening including popcorn was free.
I have to say, though, that the last few years worth of (bleeeeep)remakes and trashy Will Ferrell movies have been purely awful.

Well, I could say Waterworld, but that wouldn't qualify, since I did NOT sit through it.

So, I'll have to go with The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior - the direct-to-video (usually a bad sign, anyway) sequel (likewise) to The Scorpion King. I had been quite surprised that I had liked the original, since it was actually a spin-off of the Mummy movies that I didn't like all that much. The sequel, however, was definitely a case of "well, we know WHY it went directly to video, and not to the big screen).

Recently, I would say Love Happens. I only went because my mother wanted to see it. As a Christian, it goes completely against what I believe a person should do dealing w/ death. My mother is way into psychology, so this was her thing. Unfortunately, it left us w/ very little to discuss afterwards. I did like the use of big words & looking up the definitions. Kind of reminds me of watching Bill O'Reilly at night, but I didn't tell mom that because she is NOT a fan! k

I'm gonna rip open some old wounds here, but I've got to nominate any of the Sherwood Pictures films....FLYWHEEL, FACING THE GIANTS, and FIREPROOF....good intentions alone do not make a good film....

My family (my dad, aunt and uncle) went to see Basic Instinct. I don't think they read anything about if before going. Needless to say that was the worst, most uncomfortable experience of my early years. I sat there in the theater wanting to crawl under the chair. I was only 16.

We left midway through thank goodness.

Battlefield Earth - Watched that one with friends because we heard it was so bad.

The Thin Red Line - Wow, what a horrible, boring, incoherent movie. Beautiful cinematography though.

Gozilla - the American one. Everyone expects the Japanese versions expects them to be bad - they're campy and that's their charm. The American one was just horrible.

Transformers 2 - Good God, what a train wreck of a movie (and I'm not a knee jerk Michael Bay basher, Transformers was enjoyable, and the Island was actually quite good).

Napolean Dynomite was the stupidest movie I have ever seen and it definitely wasn't even funny.

Dumb and Dumber was the dumbiest movie of all.

The Sarah Plain and tall series all were bad.

Hope Floats was way too depressing for me.

Cars was another stupid movie.

The giant shark jumping out of the water to bite the airplane in midflight (defying I cannot even guess how many physical laws of nature) was probably the best part of the movie. That scene lasted less than ten seconds. 'Nuff said.

I'd like to be flying an F-16 with my finger on the M61A1 cannon trigger about the time that shark jumps out of the water. Instant shark stew meat.

Some movie a long time ago called Broadcast News. I left to go to a restaurant and play video games. I lost money on that one.

Awright folks, the thread is movies you SAT THROUGH. No more of these "I left to play Donkey Kong" posts .
Amen on "The Thin Red Line". Along the same vein was a movie about 5-6 years ago called "Gods And Generals", a Civil War flick. Beautiful cinematography, but NOTHING happened! How can you make a Civil War movie without any action?

"Last House on the Left" (the original) Got it for Halloween last year after years of hearing how it was the "scariest film ever." Stupid, cheesy, boring with one ultra-violent, gratuitous scene right in the middle. Didn't bother seeing the remake. There'd be no point. Yecch!

I don't like Rob Zombie's movies either. Especially "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects." Evil ( I mean REAL evil) just oozes off the screen.

You people can't even recognize a bad movie unless you have watched Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever.

Hands down the WORST movie of all time.

I must be weird, I liked many of the movies listed even Event Horizon.

#1: Kill Bill 1, 5 minuets of her trying to make her toes work?!? Wish I would have walked out.

#2: Dawn of the Dead, the most current one, just sad.

#3: G.I. Jane, what a nasty woman.

#4: Wild Things 2, what was the point?
