We're having a problem with our satellite dish. We can get local channels and CNN but Fox News Channel isn't available. A problem with something in the dish? Or something more sinister?

I cannot swear to it, but if you have the lowest cost service, I do not believe Fox in yet included. You have to subscribe to the mid-cost service. Look at your channel service, or on the menu. Click on channel 205 (that is what it is on mine), and also have the index showing all programming. Hope that helps you figure it out.

fox is a premium channel on dish network. Its not a conspiracy. Go online, look at the lineup if you want it you'll have to pay for it.

Wait. Let me put on my tin foil hat before we continue. I want to make sure I'm ready. [8D]

Won't work. The radio signals could enter from under the hat, and the point or curvature of the hat may act as a parabolic dish to concentrate the signal to fry the brains. It's the Illuminati who came up with the tin foil hat idea. They have transmitters inside the earth. [:D][8D]

As for FOX, I believe they are worth paying for. I don't have dish, I have RCN cable and they are on. However, if you want to hear them, there are radio stations all over the place that carry them. I guess that's why there's a great push for a "fairness" doctrine.

That right there is your problem. [8D]

Are the initials "BHO" inscribed upon the dish? [:D]

It's capitalism.

Actually, at one time tin foil hats used to be effective but when everyone started using them and the elite found out about this they decided to alter the chemical composition of all the tin foil on the market in such a way as to render them ineffective. Now only the elite has the effective tin foil hats, everyone else is stuck with the stuff that doesn't work.[sm=catinhatsmile.gif]

Is it installed straight or does it lean to the left?[:)]

It does seem to be a little off center now that you mention it. [:D]
