I know women are emotional. I would like to get an idea of how often a typical Christian woman yells at her husband. I know it's not something people want to admit but I'm hoping for a little honesty here. God Bless.

I'm sure I have yelled within the last 20 years! I'm not known for it, but I'm sure it has happened.

I'm sure I have in the past, but it's a pretty rare event.

I wish I could say never but honestly maybe 2 or 3 times a year in the heat of an argument.

Hmmm....in the heat of a discussion I think both of us have slowly gotten louder (I would consider that yelling at its endpoint but not 'yelling at' him since we were both frustrated and not intentionally attacking the other...usually we realize we've gotten too loud and try to calm down a bit) but I don't think either of us has yelled at the other out of the blue unless it was down the stairs/across the yard/that kind of thing.

I put never. I have a bigger problem watching my tone of voice rather than volume.

No, but I don't yell at anyone unless it's to be heard over some kind of noise.

It kind of depends whether "yell at" means (1) 'raise my voice in frustration during an argument/disagreement' or (2) 'use my words as a direct personal attack in a harsh critical blaming way (which may or may not actually get loud)'. I do find myself caught up in (1) style 'yelling' from time to time, maybe 2 or 3 times every 2nd month... about the same time of month... hmmm. This is when I'm just so desperately frustrated that I want to be heard RIGHT NOW, so I get wound up and end up shouting, then crying, then feeling like a childish idiot, but still being frustrated over the original issue, but feeling like I've lost any credibility to address it. Thank God for gracious husbands. As for style (2) of 'yelling at' -- I'm sure it has happened, but it's maybe yearly, if that, and it is genuine attempt to hurt-back when I have been hurt or humiliated. This attempt to wound is never appropriate, and I do not tolerate it in myself.

Rarely, but I also have more trouble with my tone than with the volume.

Define yelling....lol You can YELL without being loud (tone) and you can be LOUD without YELLING. I put sometimes....it is not often..and I wish it was never. I probably yell at him 3 to 5 times a year....but to me...that qualifies as sometimes. Rarely, for me, would be 1 to 2 times a year. I wish it was never. But I don't start out yelling at him...it is a progression to that point....and I am working on NOT doing it at all. You CAN be angry and not yell...and express yourself...so that is my goal.

I am ashamed to admit that I raise my voice often when I am angry, or when I have been interrupted and am frustrated and want to continue speaking anyway. I realize it's not excusable and that it needs to stop. There have to be other ways to deal with marital conflict.

I never yell at my husband. I'm also rarely, if ever, emotional.

If I get really, really upset I may cry. I don't yell at him. I do yell at inanimate objects on occasions, especially plastic containers because I have alot of trouble opening them and this is frustrating to me (I think I have weak fine motor system or something)

I seldom yell at my husband, although I know I have a couple times in our almst 16 yrs of marriage because we have had a couple of doozy fights. I do, however, get a "tone" in my voice and this irritates me...I wish I didn't. It is the same tone that sometimes my child will use with me. I don't like it when they do it to me, so I usually feel "icky" if I use a "tone" with my Dh. It is usually more of a "I don't want to be bothered tone, leave me alone, can't you figure this out yourself, irritated, type of tone."
